Tom Cruise Moving With Katie Holmes To N.Y.C.
One of Hollywood's power couples is doing a temporary relocation to the East coast! Last May it was announced that Katie Holmes would star on Broadway in All My Sons. But the deal took a while to hash out because Katie wanted to make sure she kept Tom Cruise and Suri by her side...no long distance relationships for this girl! The producer of the show, Eric Falkenstein, said,
"It took time - about four months - to work out. There were family issues. She and Tom are committed to keeping the family together, so they have to get an apartment here."
He went on to add that he didn't choose Katie just because she's an A-lister.
"Katie's not really a celebrity type. She's done brilliant work in films like Pieces of April and The Ice Storm and is perfect for the role. (Her character is) a natural sweetheart who can sniff out phonies; Katie basically has that exact moral fibre."
I know people had been speculating that Tom wouldn't let Katie move to the Big Apple by herself. But, this sounds like a mutual decision. What husband and wife wouldn't want to live together if at all possible?!?

for some reason, this reminds me of audrey hepburn..when everyone was saying that mel was bad for her and controlled her, but she told everyone that she was the one that made the decisions..i hope it doesn't end the same way..
katie holmes wasn't in ice storm, christina ricci was, DUH!

What's wrong with the picture? No shoes or jacket on the kid and Katie is all wrapped up......and is the kid sucking on her bottle with a brown paper bag around it? My vision's bad, is it that bad?

That kid has NEVER got anything on her feet! Mummy is wrapped up in a roll neck sweater and a coat, while the little one has no coat, a sleeveless sun dress on and nothing on her little tooties.

I heard Suri allegedly has scurvy. Scurvy renders you unable to walk (or want to walk). All that stupid Scientology barley water that founder L. Ron Hubbard supposedly "picked up in his reincarnation trips to Roman times". Never mind that Roman times did *not* have some of those ingredients.
I doubt it was a mutual decision. The director is just saying that so they don't send scilons after him. I wonder how far the theater is from the CoS? I think NY will become even more interesting. Perhaps someone will Cruise by, because you know - he's the only one who can help!

Broadway for Katie? A total fiasco.
Remember Julia Roberts stint, who has far more charisma than Holmes (and an Oscar winner)was swallowed up by the Broadway stage. The critics murdered her. Same thing will happen to Robowife.
Katie will utterly embarass herself, she has scant acting talent and she has NO business sharing a stage w/ Lithgow and Wiest. This is so taking a page out of Kidman's playbook a la The Blue Room.
