Natalie Imbruglia's Fifth Album Will Be Better Thanks To Divorce

Natalie Imbruglia says suffering makes her more creative. Any artist would tell you the same I suppose. She promises a wonderful fifth album because the music will be coming from the hurt and sorrow that she is feeling while going through this divorce.
"After a break from songwriting, my life experiences have really helped
me to be more creative. I think when it comes to creativity, I am more
inspired by suffering than happiness."
Imbruglia wrote her 1998 debut, Left of the Middle, about a broken heart and it went on to be a major international success. Her two subsequent albums, made while she was happily married, have
failed to emulate the success of her first record - debuting in the
U.K. at number three and 12 respectively.

Thanks Ashley!

She didn't actually write "Torn". It was written by someone else for another artist, but Natalie made it a hit song.

I'm in love with that dress, it is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!
she's much better to look at than to listen to.
I'm more interested to hear the songs her ex, Daniel Johns, writes about the pain of divorce- he's the more talented songwriter...
Oh! Is that what she does? She sings. Just wondering...

Wow, I thought she had fallen off the face of the earth. Good to see she will be back.... and looking darn good might I add...
she's had 5 albums so far? i thought she only had two, her first one and white lily island. i really liked her first album a lot, but i believe daniel had a had in producing one of her albums (i would assume the lastest one), so i may pick it up just for that reason. i generally like anything he has a hand in.
and the song "torn" is by i believe a swedish band called ednasnap. please correct me if i'm wrong. it was a great video for that song too.
Well, thank the gods. I could care less about her but now foxy ass Daniel Johns is back on the market *mrow*
