right, he works 24/7. this is classic cognitive dissonance. next time I teach intro to psych, I will use this as an example. people who are millionaires have to justify to themselves why they earn so much, while the rest of the world struggles to make ends meet. so in order to make it seem more fair, they convince themselves into thinking they work harder than the rest of us. I call BS, there are millions of people in this world who work harder than his ass, and earn half of a percentage of his annual income.

so why fault the rich for having money? some rich folks are born into money and some work at it. The people that struggle to makes ends meet; they do because they lack the education to have a better more comfortable life. I struggle everyday to make ends meet; but I don't blame the rich for my lack of money. I do get a little envious of other people's money, but I don't blame them for having so much.
pardon me, but i have a PhD and i don't earn a fraction of what he earns. don't tell me that it's lack of education. I bet papa Joe didn't even go to college, he's rich because our society is messed up and thinks that people in the entertainment industry should be componesated with millions/billions of dollars. it's BS, and yes, maybe I'm a bit of a communist, but the gap between hollywood and the rest of society has been growing exponentially.
you are right, but we as a society are to blame for a Hollywood people earning more than a teacher, policeman etc. We spend the money on records, movie tickets. We tune in to watch the reality shows, and the tv series. We make them rich; if an artist's album or movie bombs, is because the public was not interested and they didn't spend the money. Don't blame these celebrities, we make them who they are. We place them on a pedestal like they are gods. If you don't make enough money with a PHD, then that says a lot about what and who we value as people. You may not make as much as Joe Simpson true, but maybe you live more comfortable than the cashier at Walmart.
