Shia LaBeouf Apologizes For Online Slapping Video And Slur

I didn't even HEAR Mr. LaBeouf call a friend a derogatory term while viewing thevideo where Shia gets slapped in the face! I was too busy watching this teenager ask for physical harm on camera.
Well others did and Shia's rep has issued a statement apologizing to anyone who was offended.
"The video tape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game amongst friends in which he uses a derogatory word towards a friend. He regrets having used the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone."

whenever he messes up, he just says 'i'm embarrassed' and then drops it, lol. You know he doesn't care what we think.
I dont understand why he should apologize for that video. He was just being stupid with his friends and its not like he hurt anyone.

he is a kid...well, he is 21 (?) now...but seriously, he is going to make an idiot out of himself a time or two. As long as he isn't drinking & driving or doing drugs...i don't see what is wrong here. Other than the fact that you want your friend to slap you ON CAMERA is idiotic, haha it was bound to get around. so, deal Shia. Be a goofball, but quit acting like you get embarassed. We are all embarassed by stupid stuff we do, but quit making excuses. I wish people would just shrug their shoulders and say..."Im a dork".

I knew sooner or later the chit would hit the fan about this video. He shouldn't apologize.....he was goofing around and having fun. Even at 21 we do stupid things. In the grand sceme of things he is just a baby.
I heard it right away in the youtube clip. It's right at the beginning. (I don't like the word either....but I am gonna type it for this) But he told his friend "come on hit me, you ****" or something to that effect. I love Shia....seems like he was just WASTED in that video though. Didnt he say he had an alcohol problem a few months ago??
oh the word got bleeped anyway. He called his friend "f-a-**-o-t" replace the **'s with G's...and you see what I am sayin'

He has to say he's embarrassed because he has to say something. If he said, "no comment", everyone would say that he acts like he's too good for everyone else, blah blah blah... Like some of you have said - he's 21 and a GUY! How many guys have gotten HAMMERED and done really stupid things on camera? Everyone should just leave him alone - oh, and the little turd that released the video should be kicked in the face - so freakin' unnecessary. And he may be getting sloshed, but he's with normal people, not hanging out in LA clubs for the pap attention - give the kid some credit. I think he's a good actor and is very serious about his work. We'll see!
