Does anyone here own one? I’ve been lusting after one ever since I first read about it in a technology mag when it was in development. I have read reviews about them on Amazon now that they have “launched” but I was just curious if any of you have one? I would love to have one but the price is a bit much right now.

I am a book junkie. I just graduated college a few weeks ago and found that I suddenly had NO idea what to do with all of the free time now that I didn’t have classes & homework! I am married with 2 kids but they are gone at school & work all day. Well, I ended up reading a LOAD of books. I seriously need a 12 step program to peel me away from the things! Some good ones that I read:
Marley & Me – it was SO fantastic, even for those of us who don’t have dogs. 😉
My Horizontal Life – Chelsea Handler (I had never heard of her before I read it – it was hilarious)
Revolutionary Road (I read this a while back but wanted to reread it)
The History of Tom Jones: A Foundling (it was mentioned in the movie Atonement, so I needed to check it out)
Thirteen Reasons Why (this is more of a teen-genre book) it was okay, not as good as a lot of people claimed it to be, though.
The Rum Diary – I have most of Hunter S. Thompson’s books but I had never read this! Crazy! 🙂
There were many more but I normally read a LOT of nonfiction. And I find a lot of people aren’t big fans of it. My favorite book of all time is The End of Poverty: Economic Solutions of Our Time. I also am in the midst of reading the entire 14 volume set of the UN Millennium Projects’ reports. I’m currently on Combating AIDS in the Developing World. They are great reads!
You should see my Amazon Wish List, I’m surprised they haven’t limited the number of pages I can use up. 🙂
I’d love to see us pick a book and really do a “book club” conversation about it! I think it’d be a lot of fun!
Lily Allen is all smiles and goodwill as she enjoyed a trip to the American Shopping Plaza in Glendale yesterday and also stopped to pose for pictures with excited fans. I think it’s been awhile since we’ve seen such a carefree sincerely happy Lily and I hope she’s enjoying her trip and making great music.

For reasons that are still unknown, Britney Spears’ small part in the Pussycat Dolls video for "When I Grow Up," has been cut out. She was filmed driving, looking "hot and blond," and her cameo in the video was just to wave at the girls as she drives past.
Why would they edit her out of the video? Anything Britney does brings tons of publicity, you’d think the PCD ladies would want that!
These pictures are of the Dolls shooting the video last week. Britney shot her part separately…she never had any actual interaction with the group.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s second wedding has been called off…due to lack of interest by major publications? Isn’t the bride and groom’s interest in their own wedding enough?
"The small wedding in the Bahamas was nice, but it was not Mariah’s style. The lady loves a spectacle."
Nobody was willing to pay enough for the wedding photos to finance a second wedding.
"Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay
for the wedding was through the sale of photos. No one was interested."
Could you find a dress like this? Its so cute
I had the opportunity to meet Nigel Barker, America’s Next Top Model’s sexy photographer/judge. He was the host for last night’s "My Life in Smiles", an exhibition showcasing America’s best smile moments sponsored by Crest Whitestrips Daily Whitening + Tartar Protection and Gen Art. The entire concept was great. People submitted photos of themselves showing off their pearly whites in various situations. Some submitted their wedding photos, others with friends jumping around in a fountain (my personal favorite) and the winner chose a sky diving shot.
Lots of fun! You can see all the entries here. I’m a sucker for photography and really enjoyed the entire lot.
While speaking to Nigel, he told reporters that his family just found out yesterday that his wife is pregnant with a son so he was VERY excited. He also said that he was thrilled to be part of the contest.
"Capturing a beautiful moment in a photo is something I am very passionate about. I’m happy to help Crest Whitestrips on their mission to inspire photographers everywhere to capture smile moments and would encourage aspiring photographers to express themselves through their photos."
