Courteney Cox Hoping To Do Friends, The Movie
This looks like it will be the next big trend...turning hit TV shows into movies. After the success of Sex and the City now everyone wants a piece! Although, doing a Friends movie has been talked about for years now. Courteney Cox is busy trying to get everyone on board. David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc are said to be willing and ready. Now it's up to Courteney to convince Jennifer Aniston.
"Courteney has already spoken to a lot of the old gang and most of them are eager to do it. Courteney has seen the success of the 'Sex and the City' movie and is sure a 'Friends' movie would be even bigger.
Her biggest problem is getting Jennifer on board because she has so far refused to even contemplate going back to her role as Rachel Green. She's concerned it will damage her chances of moving on with her career as a serious actress."
I would SO go see that! Would you?

100% I would go see it! They originally said they'd never do a movie! Hopefully they can get Jen on board! I like her, but honestly, she hasn't had much of a movie career. I think she'd do awesome if she attached herself to another smart, witty series.
Well, I haven't seen Jennifer A in a whole lot of movies recently so maybe she should reconsider.
I did see Jennifer in about 3 movies latly.Yes,they were good but not my fav and not as good as friends. I hope see thinks about it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!That would make her rich and kepp her career going. I mean she say that shes a serious actress--NOt!!But i like her!!And i love friend!!wohohohh

I was a HUGE fan of Friends, but I'd be nervous about a movie. Movies based on TV shows tend not to be very good. As for Jennifer A, she shouldn't worry so much. After all, she's basically played Rachel Green in every movie she's ever been in. At least this time it would be appropriate.
I don't think there is anyone who wouldn't see it! I agree 1 of my favorite shows ever!! Always funny. Each and every one of them!
I wouldn't! Friends sucked and it was only good for the first 2 seasons. Hated, hated that show. The worst ever.
I agree. Aniston basically plays Rachel in every movie she's in. The characters are pretty one dimensional. Also, everybody's career is in the crapper while Aniston floats on the edge. Sequel time? Why not before they get too old unless they do Grumpy Old Friends.

I would go see it too, and hope for the best. Would love to see what they have the characters up to now a days...and after that last one i remember where "did she get off the plane!" ... "i got off the plane" ...lord, makes me all teary eyed just thinking about it.
I love friends it was my favourite show, but it really did decline in quality the last few years. I would be very nervous about a Friends movie.
Anniston so needs to get over herself. Girl can't even act! A Friends reunion would be awesome and give her a chance at a movie that was actually successful.

She kinda has a point.... Jennifer Anniston has seen some good movie hits, and is a good actress. I think her being Rachel Green some more would be a hard type cast to break through. Plus her voice makes her hard to really watch but she can act.
You wouldn't catch me dead paying upwards of 12 bucks to see all of those has-beens in ANY movie, much less a Friends movie. Seriously, what would it be about? For one thing, I would never buy the idea that six people (some with kids) in their late 30s/early 40s could meet at a cafe regularly and spend countless hours sipping lattes and chit-chatting... And I agree with others here that Aniston's career really isn't that hot. The most talked-about things about her are her love life and her body. So even though I wouldn't see it, a Friends movie wouldn't hurt her career in any way, because there isn't much to hurt!
I doubt if this is true as Schwimmer is working on directing projects and has even said that he wouldn't be very interested in this. It's over people.
I REMEMBER HER SAYING IN AN INTERVIEW AWHILE BACK SHE WOULD NEVER DO A FRIENDS MOVIE. I GUESS AFTER HER SHOW DIRT GOT CANNED SHE'S HARD UP FOR CASH!!!
Damaging for her career? Jennifer are you serious? WHAT career? She needs to look at her own track record of movies, gracefully accept that she's not a, shall we say versatile actress and milk her success as Rachel while she can.
Oh my God - you cant even compare these people to Sex and the City! I would never pay to see this crap on the big screen - and I was hooked on the TV show!!
