Sara Evans Marries In Vera Wang Over The Weekend

Sara Evans married Jay Barker (former football player for the University of Alabama) over the weekend. The bride wore an ivory silk taffeta Vera Wang. My dream was to marry in a Vera Wang dress… then I saw the price tag and got over that really quickly.

Evans’s son Avery, 8, walked his mother down the aisle, and the
couple’s seven children (Evans has three and Barker has four from their
previous marriages) were their only attendants.

How adorable is that!!

I think it’s disgusting how celebs just divorce and remarry with little regard for the childrens. It’s gross.

I hope Brad and Angie make it work, but I still think she will wake up one day and say: “ya know Brad, this sounded fun at first but….”

  6. KatieS says:

uh oh. Vera Wang does not have a good track record with marriages for those who she has outfitted! Its almost guaranteed that if a celeb is married in Vera, they’ll wind up divorced.

  7. Curious One says:

Who the hell is Sara Evans?

  8. Debby says:

Congratulations to the happy couple! I wish for them a long, happy marriage!

  9. WTF says:

Wow that was fast. I hope she picked a better man this time around.

She had a very nasty divorce…and generally it’s thought that you need at least 2 to 3 years to recover, even from a fairly amicable divorce. And all those kids! Whew! I don’t envy them trying to blend a large family like that. Second marriage divorce rates are even higher than first marriage divorce rates…and kids are the major reason why. I hope they are in family counseling to deal with their pasts and with their present. I wish her luck…she is going to need it.
