Denise Richards says she'll never be a girl next door type so she might as well stick with what she's known for...being a sex symbol. For that very reason she's considering doing Playboy again! She first posed for the men's magazine back in 2004.
"It's still a possibility," Richards told AOL.com. "It's so iconic and fun."
"I think that my niche is as a sex symbol. I'm never going to be the girl next door, so why not play up my niche?"
Look through some past pictures of Denise and tell me, do you think she's a sex symbol?

if by definition a sex symbol is someone people idolize because of their appearances, sex appeal and charisma - definitely not. if sex symbol was to mean something having-to-do-with-sex... for money.. denise richards is your girl.

She would be SO much prettier if she wasn't so freaking full of herself, THAT is what makes her sooooo unattractive. Confidence is sexy, NOT cockyness. I don't think posing for Playboy before you have kids is wrong, I think when you become a mother, you stop doing those kinds of things.

When I think of a sex symbol, I think of someone who is trashy in the way they look, dress and act(think Pamela Anderson). So in this case I would think she is a sex symbol but not in a good way. To me she is a trashy whore and that is what a sex symbol is, a symbol of sex, nothing more, nothing less. She is right in that she is not the girl next door. The girl next door is respected where as the sex symbol is not respected by anyone, not even themselves. She obviously has no self respect.
