George Michael believes he gets so much press because the government is using his fame as a way to cover up their own actions. If they could just get the public to focus on George, then they won't ask questions about the important things that really happened. Britney is part of the plan too....
"In England I’ve probably had about 20 or 30 front pages in last two-and-a-half-years (and) what interests me is what else happened on those same days, and how much our government is getting away with day after day. "It’s the perfect cover-up to every major story they don’t want us to hear: ‘What did Britney Spears do today? Where did George Michael fall asleep?’"

I think what he meant is that important things that go on in the world that we might want to know about are overshadowed by all the crap celebrities do. Who knows he could be right. We become blinded by celebrity gossip and forget about real issues. Government is sneaky.

Full of himself or high on something? Didn't he get caught soliciting in a public toilet? Wasn't he found asleep in his car at a major intersection in London while on drugs? You're just fodder for the trashy tabloids, Georgie. The quality newspapers wouldn't regard you as newsworthy - because you're not!
