Mark Wahlberg Says The Oceans Movies Sucked

Tell us how you really feel! Mark Wahlberg recently talked about the Oceans Eleven trilogy. Needless to say, he did not have many kind words for his A-list pal George Clooney. When asked about not doing the movies he said,
"It was well worth it! The second one sucked!
People tell George Clooney it's great, but we all know it sucked.I made two bad movies instead - Planet of the Apes and The Truth About Charlie.
But doing that was better than sitting with Brad and George, telling the press how great everybody is: 'We were in Europe, George was funny, then we had some wine...' That's not for me.I do love those guys, but I had to step out on my own."
 Where's the love?!?

I totally agree! The movies sucked! Both times I fell asleep through out the movie. I did not see the hype AT ALL. In fact, I don't see the hype with any of George Clooney's movies. Michael Clayton sucked so bad, I had to turn it off after 20 minutes of watching it.
i always thought those dumb movies were a way for them to get paid as they hung out & jerked each other off.

I've seen the second one, but honestly I don't remember it, so obviously it wasn't that good. I love how he expresses his opinions and doesn't gives a damn what other people think of him.
Ok...has anyone seen "The Happening"....now that's the worst movie ever made in the history of movies...seriously...Horrible acting by Mark, John Leguisamo and every other actor in the movie...so I don't know what he is talking about.......He is a pretty bad actor.

I have read on another site that he was also quoted saying some harsh things about his brother Donnie, and the New Kids on the Block reunion! What a tool...

I loved Ocean's 11 and 12 but disliked 13. I really like Mark too. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
I thought The happening was great! It was creepy and different than the normal horror flicks.
He's right, the second one really did suck. Awful. I liked the first one, though!

He's just being honest. The second one DID suck. The first one was great and the 3rd one was okay.
This guy tells it like it is, thats what I love about him, no pretence here.
i actually liked the first and the 2nd one. the 3rd one was quite bad. but still, i dont think he should put others down like that. if you dont have anything nice to say - better not say anything at all. sore loser. blech.
Ahh, how refreshingly honest. He isn't bsing everybody just to suck up to people for roles. Those movies were real bad! The first one was just alright. And let's be real for a minute-Clooney has been so self inflated. Thank you for Good Night and Good Luck, excellent film, but how can you say Oceans was good? C'mon!
i find it more shocking that he thinks he has only been in 2 bad movies.
the ocean's movies were made for women/gay men to have about 90 minutes of ogle time. they never said these movies were made for the critics or they were made so they can have acting awards. mark wahlberg is just jealous because he was not part of the movies. when he wins acting awards or just be nominated for one, then maybe people will listen to him.

I find it funny that he bad mouths the oceans movies, but yet he just finished the happening, which was quite possibly THE stupidest movie ever made! haha, wow that was awful!

He's being sarcastic and playful here! It drives me crazy that when celebs try to be funny and silly - people take the words seriously.
