PETA Takes Aim At Jessica Simpson

Peta is SO ANGRY about Jessica Simpson's recent t shirt slogan, that they released the following statement poking fun at the singer.
"Jessica Simpson’s meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken-of-the-Sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo ‘Wings’ came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food."
I mean, what's up with the negativitiy? There is one way to prove a point and I'm not so sure this was it.

Im sorry, i understand them sticking up for mis-treated animals, but they need to give meat eaters a break. Enough is enough already. Are they going to start running around with giant steaks slapping us all in the face? I won't wear fur or anything like that but i will NEVER give up steak, bacon, or chicken. I like her tshirt, i think it's cute

why more people don't know the cruelty and hate behind national animal slaughter, i'm not sure. but to each their own. meat is murder. for instance, pigs are smarter than most dogs. would we slay canine meat for dinner? no. why do people *choose* to eat meat when vegetables are so much better for your - mentally and physically. do some research, people. educate your mind.
Beef: it's what for dinner. I was born and raised on a farm. Always ate beef. Pork and chicken are not bad neither. Farming is a long time american tradition. I also attend a baptist church and the preacher is always talking about hunting. Of course , veggies makes a complete meal. Go Cowboys by the way.
I agree with you Iowa girl. And for me, if in the bible it showed that God had deemed eating meat as a sin, I would stop. But He didn't, so I eat. But I don't wear fur/skins and I don't mistreat animals. And I try not to buy products tested on animals. Watch, next thing you know we're going to be harrassed for making these comments.

I do not eat meat or poultry and my boddy does not miss it at all. I ve decided to be vegetarian and I feel great. My body is really thanking me for it. However, I understand that some people do eat meat. My beef is with commercial farming where animals are kept in horrid conditions. I was driving through interestate 40 Oklahoma and I was horrified when I saw these poor animals in enclosed crowded pens, standing in their ****, eating ****. There was no grass around. God did not intend for humans to abuse animals and nature. Since there will always be meat eaters I approve of natural organic free roaming farms where animals are kept in natural and respectable conditions. I belive it is also good for everybody to fast and withold meat (I think God also intended that) It is great for body and mind. Get educated about beef/pork/chicken etc commercial farming. It is disgusting. I had tears when I saw those poor animals while driving. Let your local stores know you support free roaming and buy organic. It may be expensive, but you lknow what--BUY LESS--not more. People are eating huge portions and discard food everyday. I do not think God intended for that. Stop obesessing about food.
PETA is right about her wits. She is an idiot. As for the words printed on the t-shirt? It advertises her only skill in the bedroom and speaks nothing of her menu preferences. Again, she's an idiot.

Jessica knew that she would be photographed by the paps. I'm sure she wanted some kind of attention. Especially considering that there are so many vegetarians and animal rights activists in Hollywood. She was trying to make some kind of statement or get back at someone or get some attention. And it looks like she had that shirt made herself, so I'm sure it was intentional. I mean, she does love ribs, right?
PETA sucks. Great intentions, horrible approach.

PETAs ridiculous! I understand standing up for mistreated animals, but picking on someones food preference is not fair. Just because someone enjoys meat doesnt mean their a bad person....I LOVE meat...I love steak, and chicken, and pork chops, and salmon, and sushi.....I LOVE meat [PERIOD]

hehe,so agree with you! I love food that grows on bone:)Why PETA doesn't attack animals who kill animals to eat them!?They must have slept during their biology classes i guess.
have you seen disgusting conditions at commercial farms where animals are kept?? It equates to human slavery. It is filthy and disgusting. I challenge you to spend one day there. If you do eat meat make sure it is not from commercial farms, but rather from those where animals can roam free and eat grass, not protein crap of their dead species. That is why we are dealing with mad cow diseases. These grass eating animals are not intended to eat proteins they are fed. I friend of mine rescued a chicken that fell off the truck that was delivering them to a slaughterhouse. Eventually they had to put this chicken to sleep because it kept growing and growing and had its feet tangled up it could not walk anymore. This is what these commercial farms produce--mutants that are genetically modified and you put it in your body. Have you seen gorls and boys at 10-12years of age??? Girls look like women with large ample breasts and look extremelly developed, same for the boys. Thank hormones in milk , meat, poultry. It is simply disgusting and think what happens to your body on cellular level. I guess then our drug industry tries to find pills that you have to take for life to keep miriad diseases at bay. Food and Drug industry truly poison us. Select with care, that is all.
Then go live in a commune and stop telling us what to do with our lives,ok!I dislike fanatic hippies like you who bliah bliah against the system but when they need it they use it.!
uhhm in the time the Bible was written people were not abusing animals through mass-production and greedy farmers trying to make as much money as they can so you cant really compare. I think, considering all the other lessons in the Bible, God would not only be vegetarian....he would be vegan in this day and age. I challenge you to watch one of the undercover tapes PETA has about those farms and then enjoy your chicken or steak sandwich. I am all for choice. If you want to eat meat that is fine but what is up with having to wear on your t-shirt real girls eat meat. She is obviously taking a swipe at Tony's ex Carrie Underwood who is a vegetarian. She could have known her stupid comments about chicken of the sea and buffalo wings would come up.

Don't misinterpret the Bible or make assumptions on it. It says to eat meat and it says what it means. Time doesn't change the meaning or the words...

no it's not kidding. if you ever actually read the bible you would see that it says there is nothing new under the sun and the the book is forever. duh!
If you actually read and BELIEVE every word in the Bible, you need help. Those "words" have been translated thousands of times in hundreds of languages by thousands of people. The words mean nothing. It's to be used as merely a guideline for some people, not all people.

I saw her shirt in a photo V posted the other day and I laughed. I then thought, oh I'm sure PETA has a whole bunch to say about that. voila' Let me just mention that Pam Anderson is a vegetarian - should I be taking any advice from her? I love animals, but hate PETA.

I heard that the shirt was aimed at Carrie Underwood Tony Romo's ex because she's been named Sexiest Vegetarian 2 times. Kinda like haha look who he's with now. I think everyones taking it a little too far. Its a JOKE. (And trust me I am not a big Jessica Simpson Fan)

Only people who eat meat are real? Non meat eaters, sensitive, thoughtful people are going to evaporate? Or they're robots. It's a stupid shirt. She deserves what she gets. It was stupid to wear it at LAX where she would for sure be photographed.
I'm with PETA on this one! JS is not doing the meat industry any favors by wearing that shirt! She must be desperate for attention!
