So many directors and fellow actors have nothing but good to say about Lindsay Lohan in spite of all the ups and downs in her career. One of the producers of Labor Pains said,
“We were a little bit reluctant to work with her. But she’s been amazing.”
The woman went on to compare Lindsay to Paris Hilton adding,
“She’s so natural at what she does. I’ve never seen one take where she’s off. The
difference between her and the other girls that are naughty in the
business is that she’s actually talented. It’s not [like] Paris Hilton
and the rest of them. We took the chance. It’s good that we did. So
far, so good.”
The biggest problem working with Lindsay have been the photographers.
“Paparazzi are ruining my life. This is the
most insane thing I’ve ever seen in my life. They do things that are
very, very aggressive. I’m not a producer anymore, I’m a police woman.”
Do you agree? Of all the troubled starlets out there is Lindsay the one with the most talent at risk? I have to say, I loved her in Mean Girls and Freaky Friday…but that’s just me.

I agree with you about Mean Girls- that was a great movie & LiLo was good in it. Back when she had her gorgeous natural hair!
Oh my God. There are times when I forget about her natural, gloriously red hair, and then someone like you has to remind me. *sniff.*
Even her video for confessions of a broken heart kills me. I don’t know if that’s truly a biographical bit or not but it sure felt like it.
Nope, I still can’t get past how HORRIBLE she was in Georgia Rule. The first ten minutes of that film made me cringe. She was wooden, uncomfortable, and unnatural. I honestly, honestly, honestly don’t understand why she keeps getting hired.
It would be great if Lindsay had the same career and life like Anna Nicole Smith and Marylin Monroe.

I haven’t seen that movie but I do know Lindsay’s acting and I’m willing to bet that you are wrong. I can’t stand when people go around judging others’ acting as if they’re any better. If you think she’s so horrible and undeserving then why don’t you take her place? Audition somewhere for a movie role, get the part, and prove that you’re so much better. Don’t criticize until you can prove that you are more talented. Puh-lease!

yeah when you look at Paris Hilton ok Lindsay is talented, but when you look at Natalie Portman, Keira Ninghtly, Scarlett Johanson… Shes NOT talented AT ALL!!! Agree, in Freaky friday and mean girls, she was ok and had great supporting actor-ress. WHen i look her in Georgia rules or I know who killed me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the old lindsay…you know beautiful red hair, cute body, cast in good movies…I miss that…. I always said she would be the only girl i would ever make out with (as i am straight), and that she was the hottest chick ever.. but now, I’d be too afriad too touch her, God knows what i would catch… But hopefully she can make a comeback… and although she is my fav young actress, there is still a spot secrety inside me that wants to see her on the cover of magazine with another DUI, cuz maybe, just maybe she’ll have to spend some real time in prison..

despite a few “rocky moments,” i would have to agree that lindsay has definately come a long and better way from where she was…at least she is showing signs of improvement-not at all like britney-who seems to be taking ages to recover in even the tiniest sense of the word…congratulations to lindsay-may her road 2 recovery keep getting better…:)
I agree her best work was when she was in Parent trap. She’s okay, but I can’t say I ike her at all. She is a coat stealer!

labor pains, not growing pains
I don’t think she’s got much talent. The Mean Girls & Freaky Friday movies had great storylines and GOOD supporting actresses, Lindsey’s never been very good. I’m surprised people are still taking a chance & hiring her. She very nearly blew her entire career (and may yet, time will tell).
I agree… girl CAN act, when she puts her mind to it. She’s just had a rough time of it without people who should be role models giving her boundaries, giving her good advice or even just being good examples for her. I hope she is in a place where she can move on in her life and do better.

hell ya she can act. unless she’s coked up like in “i know who killed me”. which she actually still did pretty well in.. the plot was good til the end. decent lines. but she’s a great sober(er than before) actress.

Lindsay IS a good actress; her personality has sort of eclipsed her performances, though. She’s a GREAT SNL host! Anyone else remember Appalachian Emergency Room? “I was practicin’ my chars, and I thank I popped mah cooter bone!”

LOL. And I agree. Linds does have a little talent and that’s what puts her above paris, nicole, kim, etc. I just hope she stays on the straight and narrow because I really wish her the best. Also, unlike the others, she wasn’t born into money. She had to work towards fame and fortune.
See if you can find the one where Debbie Downer goes to Disneyworld! It’s from the same episode. Rachel Dratch, Jimmy Fallon, and Lindsay begin cracking up midway through the skit and basically EVERY player has to leave the scene because everyone is giggling uncontrollably. GOD, I miss Tina Fey on that show!
