Time Magazine is reporting that there just might be an actor's strike brewing. I feel like the industry hasn't even recovered from the writer's strike yet and now we are going to have to go through an actor one?
Just four months after a 100-day writers' strike ground Hollywood to a halt and cost the state of California more than $2 billion and 27,000 jobs, the movie business is once again facing the possibility of a strike — this time by actors. The anticipation of labor unrest in July has kept studios from starting production on any big films since April, while TV productions are working double-time to get as many episodes of their fall shows in the can as possible.
70,000 members must vote by July and agree on new contract clauses... yeah that should be a smooth ride.Â

BOO-HOO for all those actors making all those thousands and millions of dollars. SELFISH SELFISH SELFISH
Since the last strike I have lost much interest in watching any television shows, if this happens I doubt I will watch it at all anymore. I think that its pathetic that they are making a living off of the public but they think its wise to piss the public off with ANOTHER strike.
the most overpaid profession in the united states striking... awesome.
agree with you 100%. its ridiculous
that is exactly what got me into reading books like a maniac again. Good, I don't need TV anymore, I got over it. Let them lose audience, then they will learn.
I just gotta say: Julia Louis Dreyfus is gorgeous!!! ***annie***
These strikes are only motivated by GREED. All these ****s makes MORE then enough money, people should stop watching all their crappy T.V. shows to shut them up. I hate T.V. anyways is so lame.
Don't these overpaid egomaniacs have anything better to do?
WHINE WHINE WHINE. POOR LITTLE RICH PEOPLE.
