Forget about Ellen DeGeneres winning "outstanding talk show host" for the fourth year in a row at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, look at how cute she is showing off Portia De Rossi's engagement ring! I just LOVE this couple.
Ellen is one of those celebrities that I would probably go up to and hug... yes creepy I know. But she seems like such a genuine person and I really do wish her continued success and happiness.

They really are a cute couple, and seem genuinely happy. I dont watch tv but I have caught some youtube clips of Ellen's show and it looks fun.
You should clarify what you mean by saying it would be creepy to hug Ellen. Some people might think you are implying that it would be creepy to hug an openly gay woman. I'm sure you didn't mean that, but you should clarify.
i think she meant it might be creepy to just go up and hug someone. it had nothing to do with her sexual orientation.

Anyone who would miscontrue that harmless comment to mean something it clearly doesn't is just a bit too sensitive. MUST we censor every tiny thing we say so as not to offend the overly sensitive??? Another step in taking away our free speech!

When I read the statement, I thought she meant it would be creepy to walk up to a total stranger to hug them. However, with Ellen, she seems so geniune and approachable that it would not be creepy or awkward.

To passerbys at 947 and 1215 one says YUCK the other GROSS. If you are both women I gues you don't find putting a penis in your mouth GROSS and YUCKY but you do it. If you are males, then you do the same thing Helen does to her girlfriend, the difference being that Helen does it better. You two should get together and gross each other out...LOL

Love Ellen too! Ever since the beginning when she was a stand up comic. She's got a true talent with people.
I have always envied Portia De Rossi's hair. It is flawless! Ellen is hilarious. I don't always find women comedians funny because alot of them focus on women body issues and stuff like that but Ellen is so unique and clean-humoured. Very refreshing. After the Anne Heche debacle Ellen went through I really hope this relationship lasts forever for these two. They seem very happy and down to earth.

Really? Cause when I saw her I thought she seemed ultra fake all of the time. She never leaves her act behind.
