Janet Jackson And Jermaine Dupri Ready To Start A Family

Ooh! How exciting! Jermaine Dupri told People Magazine that as soon as Janet Jackson completes her upcoming tour, the couple has plans to conceive.
"Yeah, soon. Right after the tour."
Dupri is so excited he doesn't care about the gender.
"It really doesn’t matter. Janet would be a great mom. She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she’s got to know what that is (like). And her mom is a great mother."
Jackson is set to hit the road for her Rock Witchu North American tour - the first tour for the singer in seven years - this September (08).
Good luck to them, but I doubt it's going to happen. She's 43 years old, her chances are slim. They're better off adopting.
I think she'd be a good mom too. She works out, eats and drinks healthy, like Purple, maybe. And she's kept herself fairly balanced for a long time now. I hope he does more than just stand by and applaud her, though.
Oh, it could happen, even at 43. They will just use donor eggs and in vitro. That's how all these celebs who have kids in their 40's do it. But the part that made me cringe is him saying that Janet has a great mother. Has anyone looked at that family lately? It's a zoo of dysfunction, abuse, and isolation. There was something seriously wrong in that household, and it started with the parents.

I just don't understand how you can know you want to have children but keep waiting and waiting and saying that the time is not right, you still have a tour to do, bladibladibla - untill you're well over 40! What is she waiting for? I find it sort of naive and a bit selfish that she thinks she can have a baby any time she pleases. Significant risks are involved at her age. But o well, I guess she needs to tour first! Much more important ofcourse!
They keep putting it off. After this, after that. I don't think it's gonna happen!

yeah, they can just order one up after the tour! it seems like anyone, any age in hollywood can have a baby these days with the right amount of cash. she will probably have twins too!
I am not understanding why someone would wait that long and then use a donor egg??? It wouldn't even be your child biologically. I think you would be better off adopting a child that needs a good home. Also, if she does try to have her own child, isn't she concerned about the risk of down's syndrome? These Hollyweird types create a bad image for most women, because women do have a limited time to have children.
