Christina Aguilera Rocks The Vote

Christina Aguilera says the reason why she chose Rock the Vote as the campaign she would speak out for is she wants to ensure her son grows up with this country in tact. I am actually working with the campaign as we speak to put a widget on this site so users can register to vote without leaving INO. So finding this video this morning was a real treat for me.

HELLO??? Did you watch the interview? Rock the Vote is a joke in itself but that moron XTINA had NO business on that show..."Obama....he is just......just.....wow.....groundbreaking........this campaign is......so......exciting....! Are you serious?? SHE DIDNT VOTE UNTIL 2004!! She is all about the "spot". In the interview she had to look up and down because she had no eloquent or intelligent thing to say about politics. Trying to copy Madonna in 1990. This bitch has no originality or political intelligence. She is a fking embarassment. Why not talk about the real star of that show last night---Luke Russert!??

The Bush family is tied in with the Saudis and all the oil so there will not be a President in this country who is good for this country till America decides to do right by its people. There is so much more involved in what is wrong with this country and this hoopla surrounding election is just covering up the real **** that is ****in America up. Read into our current issues, find out why we are really in Iraq cuz I am telling you right now thats its not to fight ANY war. There is no war and there is no Al Queda that is some made up **** YOUR government made up to get you all to think it is ok to go into some RANDOM country and **** **** up. All I know was that 3 days after 9-11 George Bush Senior, Osama Bin Landans son, Dick Cheny and a bunch of other people all got onto a Saudi airlines and flew over to drop the Bin Landens off and to talk business. How come 2 days before 9-11 the government went into the World Trade Center and REMOVED all the gold from the buildings? (this was where our countries supply of gold was held). I will vote for Obama only because I want change but I am not counting on it. I will just be moving to Mexico, a self sufficient country that America tries t o own and destroy, dont even get me started on that.

i LOVE christina and support her in everything she does. If she wants to use her popularity for a good reason, more power to her. It doesn't matter if she started to vote yesterday, if she's sending the message out there for young people to exercise their right to vote then good for her. She has such a large fan base, then she knows (as well as I do) that people look up to her and listen to her and respect her campaign. Anyone who doesn't like her is jealous because she is extremely talented and there's no denying that.
Loved the intreview, she spoke with class, dignity and grace. :0) She's amazing. She was soo honest aswell, so i can't hate for that. I don't care when she started voting, because at least she votes now.
I agree with you. This interview made me see the other side of her, not the character that she plays but the real person that is honest and forthright. Rock on Christina!

For some reason I watched her on Larry King...I cannot believe how arrogant and self-important she is! And that makes her even uglier than she already is. Nothing wrong with a woman who is confident, but for her to still think she is God's gift to the world...it's just one of the many reasons why I have never been a fan of hers. And do I really want someone who looks like a hooker dictating to me how the future of the world should be?! HELL NO!!!!!! I think Christina really needs to retire (because her music sucks ass) and raise her baby and raise her monkey-husband. Give me Britney Spears anyday over this ugly, self-obsessed hobag!! And did anyone else sense that Larry Kind started regretting having Christina on the show and was probably thinking to himself, "Why couldn't I get Britney Spears?"

Can I just remind those of you complaining about her not voting for the first time until this last election that given her current age and the fact that we only hold presidential elections every 4 years she has only been eligible to vote in one other presidential election in her entire life, and by my estimate she was approximately 19 at the time that she didn't vote so give her a break. Besides, she's being honest about the fact that she's only voted once, not trying to pretend otherwise so leave her alone.
Christina is a dynamite singer but she needs to get off her high horse because she seems to think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread. This just added on to why she is a horrible role model for girls, just going on national television and talking about this election being important yet she didn't go out and vote until recently. She was basically another blond bimbo with big fake boobs sticking out there saying, "This is such an important election. It's so groundbreaking. We all need to vote. I want my son to be proud. Blah-blah-blah..." and then she's like, "Uh...I didn't vote until last year." Uh...can anybody say "hypocrite"?!?!?!?! So, first it was dancing around in assless chaps, then it was boasting about getting pierced down there, then it's the "naked sundays" while her cleavage is practically out on display (On a freaking family-oriented TV talk show no less!!) now it's THIS!!!!! And as long as we're STILL comparing Christina to Britney....well....erm....Britney may not be a rocket scientist, nor would I want to leave her alone with my kids, but I have to say Britney is still the better one of the two and everyone is rooting for her.

I can't believe how many guys think she's sexy because there is nothing even remotely sexy about her. I guess she is sort of filling the void left by Britney Spears when she started losing her appeal. I doubt the old Britney we know and love will ever re-emerge, but we will always have the memories...and, sorry, but this uggo could never fill Britney's spot because she could never compare to Britney and her sexy schoolgirl act.
I think Christina's true colors finally came out during this interview. She's always being so preachy and arrogant during most interviews and being all arrogant and ****....and now we're all seeing that she's just another moron starlet with zero intelligence. Not to mention how freakishly UGLY she is!! With and without all the face paint!! EWWW!!!!! I agree....Britney, though no better intellect-wise, is still the much hotter and better looking one and she always will be no matter what. However, I would not welcome any more musical endeavors from these two.

Perhaps a more educated and eloquent speaker would be more convincing? How many times did she say, "you know" and "sort of" in the interview? Her narcissism regarding her own political views and wanting America to be a better place for HER SON is a strange way to get other people to vote. Surely she should be appealing to the needs of others and the greater good, rather than constantly referring to herself being a mother and her personal needs. The fact that she's only bothered to vote once, and digs a hole for herself in implying she's only been interested in politics since becoming a mother ( in January!), undermines any credibility she has. I wonder how much she's being paid??????? The interviewer looked somewhat desperate as he scanned his notes while she was actually speaking! Yes, she's a great singer with a unique and powerful voice, but she's the wrong person for this job. America must have so many other talented, educated and well-spoken young people who could have been chosen to fulfil this role.
People keep trashing poor Britney when in reality Christina is the far more dispicable one because she's been using Britney's latest misfortune to her own advantage. Anyone find it funny how ever since Britney got messed up Christina suddenly became this blond bombshell? And pretty tacky that Christina goes on Ellen to talk about being naked while trying to stir everyone up while Britney went off the rails and shaved her head. Then after having the baby, Christina was walking around flaunting her post-baby boobies while poor Britney was being carted away in an ambulence to a mental hospital thus havving her kids taken away. I don't know about anyone else but it does seem like Christina is sorta rubbing Britney's nose in this newfound "sex kitten" image of hers. Even this interview she's trying to show people that she's the "smart" one, but she's not that much brighter. I still love Britney to pieces and want to see her back on top where she belongs...more importantly I want Brit-Brit healthy and happy again.
FYI - Christina started the "blonde bomeshell" look in 2005 (although there hints in 2004 that she was going for the look), BEFORE Britney ****ed up. I wish people would stop comparing Britney and Christina. They're two different women, with two different lives, blah, blah, blah. If Christina does something, it doesnt mean it has something do with Britney. Move on people, it's 2008, not 1998!!

I didn't even bother watching this when it came on TV, but from what I've seen in this video, this broad really thinks she's all that and she comes off being this know-it-all authority figure on everything. But everything about this girl is so phony from her hair to her boobs. To all those paising my girl Britney Spears, right on!! At least when she acts dumb she puts a smile on her face. This one just sits there with her big nose in the air thinking her poop doesn't stink.
Was not too impressed with this interview w/ Christina...but to keep comparing her to Britney Spears is stupid because Britney is a total mentalcase and any shred of "hottness" or "sex appeal" she has is completely vanished whereas Christina always looks really hot. But I don't think I'd ever want to engage in a deep conversation with Christina...or Britney, for that matter.
