Nicole Kidman Gently Fell In Love With Keith Urban

What a lovely way to describe a relationship. Nicole Kidman said she gently fell into the arms of Keith Urban. It all sounds very sweet and romantic.

"We just gently, gently sort of fell into each other. We were just two lonely people who went, ‘Ah, there you are.’"

In other news, I just watched The Golden Compass last night and I know there is a ton of controversy surrounding that film that I just didn't pick up on while watching the DVD. I am going to have to do a bit of research online today to figure out how it all ties in.

I had the same reaction to the Golden Compass. I thought it was a very entretaining, engaging movie. Sure I have never read the books, and people might say that the movie does not do justice, but what movie ever does justice to the book? Regarding the controversy, I had to REALLY research it to understand why there was such a reaction to this movie. I have a pretty good understanding of christianity, but I really did not see the movie as a threat at all. It worries me when free thinking is not encouraged.

I agree with above poster...we need to make-up our minds for ourselves.

I loved the movie. I remember hearing all the negativity, and consequently was a little reluctant to watch it, but my husband and I both loved it. Can't wait for the next one to come out - my fingers are crossed that they're making one anyway.

I really enjoyed the book AND the movie. I dont know about any controversy but it was a good movie. Anyways, I think that their relationship is beautiful. Even him going to rehab to be a better man for her. They seem so perfect!

The controversy is because the author is a RABID anti-Christian, and why would any Christian spend their money on supporting this author? I would not go see a movie by a rabid anti-Semite or a rabid anti-Buddhist either. I am a Christian, and I would never financially contribute to the pockets of this author. There is enough information out there that anyone can get easily informed about these books' agenda. Ignorance is not an excuse.

So simply based on the fact the guy is anti-christian, people shouldn't read this book or see the movie?? He's automatically a bad guy who couldn't write a good book because he doesn't buy into the whole God fantasy? Sounds quite ridiculous to me...

Yeah, that's what I read too, about the author. And you know, that's his right to be anti Christian if that's what let's him sleep at night. I'm certainly not going to judge him--caus my God doesn't like me to. I guess we'll find out when we die, now won't we? And until then I sleep fine at night with my own beliefs system firmly in place. And I thought this movie was great, and so did my kids. I sure hope they do a sequel.

There is nothing controversial about the film, it is just the excuse the people who made the film gave because they knew after its first premiere that people thought it was ****. They used the whole christian anti golden compass ideal to justify nicole kidman's **** reviews because really she can't act she's way over paid and an arrogant moron.

I thought the movie was great. I hope they do the sequel. I read the entire trilogy in 2 days. Couldn't put it down. The third book is where he really puts down the religious institution.

Is this a recent picture? If it is I want to know how far along Nicole is and why she has not gotten any bigger. It feels like she should be showing way more than that given the time she announced her pregnancy. strange......

I wonder what her reason for hooking up with Mr Cruise was. First class ticket to A-list status and resultant money? "Ah, there he is..." Well she got that but it didn't make her happy. Maybe with this guy it will work. Hope so for the baby's sake.

I have seen terribly mal-nurished women who show more in the third trimester than she is!!! Even the pictures were she's holding her belly look like she's barely pregnant. Maybe the baby has dwarfism, or it's a fake belly and will be adopting a newborn......or maybe she is just a tall woman who is carring her baby twards her back, but even the tallest thinnest celebs have bigger bumps by the time they get as far along as she is. It seems like she has been preggers for a year!
