Chris Noth Leaves Law And Order - Replaced By Jeff Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum!! I la la LOVE him! Chris Noth has been bitten by the movie bug. He is off to play either the super wealthy committment-phobe boyfriend or the gritty cop with the crooked past. Type cast much?
Jeff will be taking his place on "USA Network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent. There, he will share lead crime-solving duties with Vincent D'Onofrio".
"Jeff's presence will add a new dimension to an already successful show," franchise overL&Ord Dick Wolf says in a statement.
When
asked about his exit, Noth told TVGuide.com in a statement,
"When others couldn't get television shows produced in New York, Dick Wolf found a way to do it, and as a New Yorker I truly appreciate all that he has done for the city. The last few years have been fantastic, and
both sides are happy with the result. 'All's well that ends well.'"

Yes Jeff Goldblum is funny and he is very capable of doing this kind of drama, L&O is a great program. But Friends? aw'' bring your standards of comedy up to date, how shallow can one person be? The lines they call jokes are an insult! YOUR PANDERING TO OTHER PEOPLES POOR OPINIONS JUST TO GET ACCEPTANCE! AND FAB! WHAT ARE YOU LIKE 10 YEARS OLD! If your are then you don't get a show like Law & Order. And it only interferes with you watching shows like I Carley anyway!

Jeff should bring a good balance to Vince's character on L&O. I'll miss Mr. Big, he had an interesting role. I do love the series but let's not forget the original is still the best - DRAGNET! Just the facts maam.

This is a great crime drama! Jeff Goldblum will be a welcome change, Chris Noth will be missed, but shows need to revolve. I liked him on this show, but absolutely hated Sex & the City, not reflection on him though. Can't wait for the Goldblum episodes!
