Madonna Consults Divorce Lawyer

Here we go again! The London Times reports that Madonna has met with high-powered British divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton, the same lawyer that handled Paul McCartney’s divorce. The Times also reports that Guy Ritchie has consulted with his own divorce lawyer at the firm Forsters. Neither firms have confirmed or denied this information, just giving the usual "No Comment".

The London Times is quite a reputable publication and as the saying goes, where there’s smoke there’s fire, so I believe there may be some truth to these reports.

I believe their marriage is over already… I am a huge Madonna fan- but with her it’s all a facade… She has her image to protect and portray to the public. Plus she had the adoption to finalise, a new record to promote… She will reveal it when it suits her. She’s a smart lady.

If it is true, I’m sure they waited to be sure everything was good with the adoption first. (just my thought)

I feel bad for the kids. :(

I am not surprised. I cannot even believe she can be married in a first place. Moreover, I cannot believe she s been married for so long and is capable to have any feeling for anyone, which is bringing us to prenup that reportedly was not signed. Very odd. So either she is putting that cold face as a facade and she is rather a good person (difficult to believe), or she is not wise enough and perhaps had other alter motives.

She must be a very difficult person to live with. She admits herself that she a control freak. It’s amazing this guy has stuck around for as long as he has. The money and the lifestyle it afforded probably seemed attractive at first, but the price would be doing things her way. He’d be the longest, wouldn’t he? Every other relationship she has had (and there have been many, see Wikipedia, Madonna) lasted only for a short time. She is obviously a very driven, obsessive person who would have little time for someone who disagrees with her, even though she has claimed that Guy Ritchie was one person who would say, “No!”, to her. Perhaps he said it one too many times. As for him, it must be hard for a man who has a successful career in his own right to be so overshadowed, and defined only by his marriage to Madonna. The irony is that many women play second fiddle to their husband’s career and that seems totally acceptable. It does seem well-timed that this all comes out when her adoption of the African child is finalized. It’s also then that she’s off for months on a world tour promoting her latest album. She’s certainly not a “stay at home” mum. As usual, the kids will be the losers.
