Paris Hilton Makes Generous Donation

Paris Hilton made an unspecified but generous donation toward the construction of a Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles reports the pediatric facility's officials. The construction is expected to be completed in 2010. In a statement released to the Associated Press, Paris says

"The children I have met through my involvement with Children's Hospital have truly touched my heart,

"I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fundraising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious illnesses."

Wow, she is really starting to sound like a changed woman. I hope this new, generous Paris is here to stay. Now if only we could get her to quit abusing that fake tanning lotion!

Way to get self tanner on your overpriced bedsheet Paris!! I keep forgetting just how classy you are!! Paris's PR whores are working over time on this trash heap, she aint a changed woman, she's just hired better PR people. She's still the world biggest whore.

This is the first time I have loved something she has worn. I want that dress! Any chance for an exact fashion find? :)

How gross. This woman hasn't an ounce of class. She has her publicists run the story before the ink is dry on the check. What a shallow person she really is. Some things never change.

How utterly predictable Hilton is. Interest in her is at an all-time low. She was booed at the Spike Awards, her movie bombed, the photogs haven’t followed her around in ages – despite her lies to the contrary – and she has this stupid BFF reality show coming out that people are already dishing. What better time to donate money and make sure a press release is distributed within nanoseconds?

She's just in the position to buy back her credibility. But really, would anyone take this woman seriously? I guess to the hospital, her money's as good as anyone else's. Her PR people are very good. From jailbird to philanthropist... She could have killed innocent people with her choice to drive under the influence. She was lucky she didn't (as were they!). It wouldn't have been so easy to buy her way out of that one...

Changed woman? I don't think so. She's using this as another way to get herself in the public eye. Everything is about Paris, you know? This is one person I cannot give the benefit of the doubt.

Passerby Passerby said:

A changed woman? I don't belive that for a second...this is just for positive publicity -- and she needs it, badly. She has a good PR team, although them seem to be fighting a losing battle.

Although I dont think I'd consider her a "changed woman" I still give her kudos for taking a step in the right direction, charity money is spent the same way no matter what the donors personal purposes were. I gotta say though, that dress is awful, it looks like she fell in a pig sty.

Paris never does anything without an alterior motive.

She's quickly morphing into her Mom..not a good look.
