I barely want to bring my children to the hair salon (oh wait, I don't)... forget about a DOG! But I am sure Eva Longoria's pooch gets some special treatment while her owner is getting pampered and styled. Here they both are on Robertson Blvd.

I don't think dogs generally enjoy being poked and prodded in uncomfortable ways by strangers in order to accomplish something that they'll never appreciate. I am 99% sure that dog would rather spend some quality time in the park chasing frisbees and stiffing other dogs' asses.
