New Work For Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton has landed a new role in the movie Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. Sienna Miller originally snagged the part but due to scheduling conflicts had to pull out. The story focuses on a chemical spillage in India. Martin Sheen has also been cast. Anyone interested in this piece?

will someone please help the girl get dressed?

sienna’s no meryl streep, but she at least has personality to inject into her roles! mischa never graduated past sounding like she’s reading from cue cards while contorting her face into awkward, robotic expressions. it’s a combo of bad habits & not having talent to work with in the first place. just because she can occasionally cry & look despondent (so can my 5 yr old sister btw) some idiots claim they think she can act?!?!

she’s a crime against the arts!

actually all of u guys are really underestimating mischa. she is quite a good actress and is underrated. Of course The OC was horrible! Horrible script and characters. I think the OC was a downplay on her acting ability. she was playing a teenage airhead growing up in california-how can anyone remotley want to try to give a good performance when given a character like Marissa. Mischa is totally underrated. She has of course made some not so great films-but even oscar winning actors make film project mistakes. You guys have only seen her in the OC probably. Well I went to sundance and saw her film which co-stars Bruce Willis and she is amazing. She can really surprise you. Why don’t you guys watch her in her films- lawn dogs, lost and delirious, and pups, which she did before The OC, and get back to me. Peace.

    The comment above is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
    true!

ALso, why does everyone think Mischa doesn’t do anything. She’s filming a lot, designing handbags, and also does a tone of charity work. I think people misunderstand her alot. She seems really chill and seems to have a quiet intelligence. Of course she has made stupid mistakes but so have all of us. thats what makes us human.

I can see her in the movie, but not Sienna Miller. Mischa is quite a good actress, at least in my opinion. Still, she needs a stylist. Soon!!!

wait, wait, wait. I don’t mean to attack you, but…”Mischa is quite a good actress”?????????????? Aren’t you getting this chick mixed up with someone who CAN act her way out of a paper bag??!!??

    That outfit is something else!

  8. Kris says:

Hope she doesnt dress like that in the movie, hate her talentless OC ass.

  9. CapturingLife says:

I would’ve watched it had Sienna still been involved. ;)

I found my high school annual (circa 1993) and I’m wearing blue suade shorts and navy blue hose. Who knew I could be a fashion icon.

  11. Passerby says:

WHAT?!?! This glorious outfit didn’t end up on this site as a fashion find?! She looks like one hot mess…

  12. Passerby says:

I didn’t even read the story, just stopped by to say that her outfit is hideously hideous!

  13. Ernestine says:

Yeah. I agree with most of the posters above. Namely: WTF? Also, yeah, just do a fashion find on Mischa! Just for fun! Do it around Halloween, though. And do a whole week of them, because some of us need costume ideas.

  14. Passerby says:

Bhopal was the site of a massive chemical spill at a Union Carbide subsidiary in 1984. 20,000 people are reported to have died.

  15. Ernestine says:

And Mischa SURELY understands the grave importance of this historical fact.
