Rose McGowan Splits From Fiance Over Movie Role

Rose McGowan has split with Robert Rodriguez over the upcoming film Barbarella. Robert is directing and Rose was supposed to take the lead, but after her recent box office dissapointment, the bigger ups decided she couldn't handle the role.Â
The NY Post is claiming that Rose wanted Robert to pull some strings, but he didn't. In the end, the movie will go on with a bigger name.
"Too bad Grindhouse didn’t gross $100 million (£50 million). Then, maybe, Barbarella would have gotten the green light. "Instead, the moguls were saying, ‘We need a bigger star, a bigger name.’"
The project was reportedly set to be axed by Universal Studios in October, because of Rodriguez’s decision to cast girlfriend McGowan in the lead role.
No rep confirmation at this point. So let's take it for what it's worth.

OK... Which one is it? Yesterday it was annouced she'd was going to start filming Red Sonja with Robert Rodriguez. One of these stories is wrong.
I also heard this story from another site. Rose shouldn't have taken a professional decision, personally. Just because he's a Director-she can't be in ALL her fiance's movies! It reveals something about her intentions with the relationship- no wonder they broke up.

Rumor has it that the role of Barbarella may go to none other than Jessica Alba.
I think she would have made a much better Barbarella than Jessica Alba.... I mean have her movies even done well?? But well Rose when you are a homewrecker, dont expect many people to feel sorry for you.

Society always blames the other woman more, because we as women are suppose to look out for each other. As a woman, you don't lay down with another woman's man, especially when there're kids involved. Robert is to blame just as much as Rose. Is always the woman who looks bad in these situations, men look like men. Robert had an obligation to his wife and kids, he chose to brake his vows and run after a whore. If a married man tells a woman "come on" is up to her to say "no". If you turn him down, he will either go cheat with someone else or go home to his wife. You may not agree, but we women have alot of power, especially between our legs.

They are equally to blame. A woman should never bring herself low enough to whore herself out to a married man-ecspecially a married man with kids. If a relationship is going to end let it end without any influence or help from you.
