Love It Or Hate It: Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown aka Mel B was spotted arriving at LAX with husband Stephen Belafonte yesterday in a pair of lavender boots, leggings and a white tee. Melanie is known for her wild style, particularly with animal print. It's also known that she isn't afraid to play around with color. Does this outfit choice work?

Mauve boots with leopard print? Oh, Scary Spice. I don't think so...
I would never wear something like that, but hey, it suits her!

Hate the boots. Hate those leggings.
The boots look cheap, but probably cost an arm and a leg!
The boots ruin the whole look.
NO, NO, NO! If the shirt was green it would probably look ok. But this is a hot mess.
I agree the boots ruin the look for me. I don't understand the legging craze. I mean even when you put them on some with a nice body I think they make someone look heavy. Just my opinion.
She's got the body for it!!

They look totally like a pair of boots you would have for a barbie doll !
I LOVE MEL B. ok guys just admit it- if you could pull off that look as well as she does, you would be wearing that too.
she is in AMAZING shape and she has the BEST sense of fashion in the world. I look up to her so much for not only that, but she is an amazing mother raising her two kids without either of their fathers, and she has worked so hard to get where she is today. she is without a doubt one of the most successful woman to EVER step foot on this planet, and she has deserved every second of it.
WE LOVE YOU MEL- KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING! xxxxxxxxxx

I love her, too, and I typically DO love her flamboyant style. And I fully admit that her body is bangin', her daughters are gorgeous, and she seems like a totally cool and charming person to hang out with. I'm not hating on her. I just REALLY don't like those boots is all, and I think that the majority of these posters agree!
this comment was very well put.

I hate the boots. It's the colour, really. If they were brighter or darker or... anything... they'd be better.
I love the boots but not with that outfit.
LOVE her.. LOVE the outfit..LOVE the Cheetah!
Yeah, it works if you have cataracts.
At her age? That material and and thigh-rubbing is only gonna have her coochie scrambling for Monistat...
Leggings were so out in the '80s! Like Madonna.

NO.
No way in hell would I wear it ... but she's pulling it off ... somehow.

She's a gorgeous woman, but those boots are just hideous. She rocks that top, though!
I would wear this I think. She has a good sense of fashion and a great body to match it. She is my role model and I she has been through a lot in the past year and people have to stop being so hard on her. I mean I would like to see any of you do what she is doing and have the same success. LOVE YA MEL AND YOU R DOIN A GREAT JOB!

I absolutely think she is terrific - but she does not *pull off* this look. Generally I like her ecclectic look -- not this.
I actually like the boots, but not with the leggings. Those leggings are just plain lazy - a lazy attempt at fashion. Jeans or a skirt or pretty much anything would have been better than those things.

For me personally, no. But she does have some basics like you said, white tee, leggings and boots. She should wear these pieces separately not all together.
mel b can wear whatever the hell she wants she pays for it!
It would've been more flattering if the boots were a (dark or light) red; it would contrast nicely with the bag, and it would create a sort of "gradation" with the white and black.

Myself am never caught in a only WHITE shirt and leggings; exspecially a Celeb. I want those purple boots! They are unique indeed. I dislike most animal prints but she looks great. She could pull of anything. I wish the shirt was a little matching to her boots.
We are commenting on Mel B, how pathetic! lol
