Kelly Ripa Running in Heels for Charity

Kelly Ripa Running in Heels for Charity

Kelly Ripa was joined by hundreds of women and her husband Mark Consuelos for the High- Heel-A-Thon to benefit March of Dimes which was filmed for her show. I love that all the women, including a few men, were there to support a good cause and have a fun time running in high heels and laughing. I for one have to admit I'm a pretty fast runner in heels, although I won't lie and say it's comfortable. :)

I love Mark and Kelly they are such a beautiful couple and they are so honest about their relationship. The admit to fighting and not getting along all the time, shows that its real and not some constant over the top pda to make up for something. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Kelly's shoes. Hot.

Can someone please explain the significance of the heels to me? It just seems so silly, trying to bring awareness to a health cause by running any distance in shoes that are known to cause serious back and knee problems. Don't get me wrong -- I love a good pair of heels -- but I don't really understand why this isn't just a traditional running-shoe kind of run.

yeah the whole running in heels seem silly to me. Did you say a few men were out there? Were they wearing high heels too? I didn't see any. ha ha, nice face kelly making in the last pic - she look like she's in pain.

Ooooooo i would definately wear ones with a strap around the ankle to keep em on! She has such a sick body. Jealous. PS No offense to Payless shoes, but they are probably the most painful to run in! hehe

big risk of breaking your ankles there. not a smart idea to do in my opinion. how many miles or kilometers is this marathon anyways?

Sketchers makes spots Pumps. they're kind of gay looking but they'll totally work for an event like this.
