Kids In The Near Future For Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon?
Forget about the relationship trouble rumors we've been hearing about these two! Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are already thinking ahead to when they're parents. Mariah recently did an interview with Elle Magazine (she arrived 2.5 hours late because she was getting her nails done). One of the things she gushed about was how Nick will make a great dad someday...and surprisingly enough, her quote makes me think she'll also make a very grounded mother.
“You can get caught up in Hollywood-land or celebrity-land, and that’s
maybe not the best thing for kids, ’cause they didn’t ask for it.
Speaking for myself, I don’t know that I always felt safe and secure
[as a child] — and that’s nobody’s fault; we’re not mudslinging or
trying to slay anybody — but truly I really feel like it’s very
important to be responsible and to think, Well, maybe if I do this it’s
not the best thing for my child. You have to take a backseat a little
bit, and as someone in the public eye, you’re not used to doing that….
I couldn’t imagine anybody that I’ve ever met being a better dad [than Nick].”

I am REALLY sick of her and I am even more sick of seeing her airbrused down to a size 0 in every magazine. Give it up we know she looks NOTHING like that in real life. Its pathetic.

The airbrushing is stoopid. Evertbody knows she's not that thin. And I question the hairline too. I don't think it's that low.

Yeah, she'll make a great mom - the kid will be waiting outside after school for 2.5hours because momma's gettin' her nails done. I despise this woman. She is blech.

I could see Mariah paying a surrogate to carry her baby, I just can't picture her letting herself get knocked up. Altho as far as I know Posh did actually birth her babies, so maybe there is hope for Mariah.

I saw her last week in person and she is that thin. She must have recently lost a lot of weight. I was surprised by how beautiful and sweet she was in person!

That is a great picture of her, airbrushed or not. She looks AMAZING! :) And I love the dress. Elle always gets such great pictures.
She is always an amazing woman. I love her great voice and all her songs.

And the award for best airbrush/photoshop goes to..... Although she did lose weight recently but she doesn't look that good. Mariah a down to earth mother? yeah right!

Loved her since 1991, so I can't say I'm not happy for her. Have I agreed with everything she has said, done, and WORN since then? No way. But I do love her songs, all the way back to "Someday".
It is so far and few times in between when she is not wearing spandex. I really like the texture/color of the fabric of her dress. It would also make a great duvet cover or gorgeous valace, even fabulous jacket. Lol, iti s gorgeous. She is airbrushed-that is OK still looks like herself but thinner, especially her face, chest, arms, waist.
Please do not forget that many people look slightly larger on photos. Camera does add weight.I know I do sometimes. So reasonable airbrushing can do no harm.
I don't understand people reading stories on someone they obviously don't like, just to comment on how much they don't like them.
I don't waste time watching or reading about people I consider blech!!
And since I like Mariah Carey, I will say she probably has her sh*t together more than alot of other celebrities out there and won't damage her kids any more than any of out mothers have damaged us. And by some of the comments on here.....Some of you are seriously damaged.
