Fact Or Fiction: Jose Canseco Says Madonna Wanted His Child
I read this last night before I went to bed and didn't post it because I didn't believe it. But this morning, I woke up wondering why Jose Canseco would say such a WILD thing if it wasn't true. Us Weekly exclusively got the baseball singer to admit that Madonna begged him to impregnate her WHILE he was married claiming the singer wanted a Cuban child.
"She wanted to get married and have a child with me — she wanted a Cuban child," he tells Us.
Canseco recalls: "We went downstairs [at her house in the Hollywood
Hills] and she came over and said, 'What would you do if I kissed you?'
and then sat on my lap and kissed me."Madonna even offered to support him if he split with his wife. "She
said, 'I have lots of money. Don't worry about that,'" Canseco tells Us.

I guess it depends when it happened. Was she with Guy Ritchie at the time? I don't know, anything's possible with Madonna. She knows what she wants and usually gets it. Not always, though. She had a thing for Antonio Banderas in the early 90's and he couldn't care less about her. HAHA

If it isn't true, it's a pretty bizarre thing for Canseco to say! I wouldn't put it past Madonna. IMO, she clearly hooked up with Lourdes's father for one reason -- to have a child. She never intended on marrying or even staying with him -- she only wanted his sperm!
Probably. Madonna has always wanted little brown children for some reason. Go figure!

I have no idea b/c Canseco has MAJOR issues himself. Part of me thinks he's jumping on the "let's trash Madonna" bandwagon. I'm pretty sure they did have a fling, but that was YEARS ago.

I'm sure Madonna thinks she can just buy anything she wants. She made it clear it was just for his spawn. I tend to believe it. I think Madonna is just more bizarre than I ever imagined. Nothing like being crazy and rich, thats the worst combination.

Fiction- the article says Jose said "madonna wanted ANOTHER cuban child" - and she suppossedly asked him before Lourdes was born so she didnt already have a cuban child - facts dont add up! I think he just wants his name out there!
The word "another" doesn't show up once in the article. Where did you get that from?

He said that he put all of this into his book a few years ago. I guess since Madonna didn't take any action, there is the possibility it might be true. I think I remember her wanting to get pregnant and looking for a possible father back then - she would want a beautiful and talented child if she was able to hand-pick the father, wouldn't she? I know she made the comment once about Lourdes' father saying something like 'he knew what he was getting into when he knocked on my door'. This story sounds like it could very well be plausible.

Why couldnt it be possible? The way I read it I never thought for once that this was something that happened recently but back in the day. I could totally see Madonna doing/saying this. She is the queen of shock after all and it's only recently she is trying to seem holier then thou, when she was as wicked as they came !
i'm sure by now she thinks she's a god, so it makes sense that she would do something like that..it's probably true if it came out of his mouth.

I believe him. Her brother pretty much says that she was shopping around for men to impregnate her when she decided to have a baby, and decided on Carlos leon because he was Cuban.
I believe Jose. For the most part he has been truthful. He rats ppl out. Thats what it has come to. If Madonna has her eye on something, she will try in anywya to get it. Bedtime stories anybody???
I feel sorry for all the children involved in this scandal. Hope they can all handle the rumors when they read this when they are older. It would definitely blow my mind to read these stories about my mother.
I honestly believe that Madonna, about to turn 50 in a August, started this whole mess to feel young, sexy and relevant. What a turn on for her ego at this age to be involved in a sex scandal.
