Uh...the last 'Rock The Vote' ad had Madonna wrapped in the flag so shes using it as a way to represent the next generation.
meh...this commercial is nothing special, and there are plenty of other young women out there with much better voices who deserve to be where she is today.
NOT a fan, but it is nice to hear her singing a cappella and without all the histrionics she usually employs. It *is* totally blasphemous to use an American flag like that, though. Not the patriotic gesture I think the directors are going for.

Goosebumps? Are you serious? I turned it off after 10 seconds. I couldn't stand listening to that annoying voice. Plus, she looks like a clown with all that makeup. She takes herself WAY too seriously.
Sorry, but her voice is amazing. I'm not a fan of the vocal acrobatics in every song, but this girl can sing circles around just about anyone else. I can guarantee that using the flag like that was not her choice, people. Besides, it's not like she's dragging it on the ground and spitting on it. Lovely - and she said that she sang softly on purpose because using the usual powerful voice she has would have been too much for her son's ears.

Can't say I liked her make-up or breathy, falsetto sounding voice OR the use of the flag in such a manner, but Max sure is cute! At least she's doing her part, I guess...
Kelly Clarkson comes close, but Christina is still by far one of the best voices out there today. Another annoying voice that is technically amazing? Celine Dion.
her voice is amazing, but she is singing way too soft right here. she should use her voice and belt it out. i LOVE her, but that is highly disrespectful wrapping a kid in the american flag. you should respect the flag, not wrap a damn kid in it.

Oh please get over yourselves. Th image of the flag has been used on everything from bikinis and boxers to doggie clothes. I think that it being wrapped around a beautiful baby(a symbol of our future) is the least of our problems. Oh and that's really classy calling her a whore, among other things.
