Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Send Nicole Kidman A Gift Basket

If you heard that Tom Cruise filled a room with flowers for ex wife Nicole Kidman to celebrate the birth of Sunday Rose, you were misinformed. Today, it was announced that the Cruise family (including Connor and Isabella) sent Nicole and Keith a baby basket to welcome the new addition.

The high-end gift included chenille Giraffe baby blankets, items from the Hermes baby line and other newborn necessities.

Tom and Nicole spent a lifetime together. Things didn't work out. But it must be nice to see one another moving on in healthy, happy marriages.

I don't think many outsiders would call the current Cruise marriage healthy. When the kids are calling the latest Mrs. Cruise "Mom" and call their own mother by her first name, that's not healthy. And we can all agree Holmes looks scary skinny and has a vocabulary limited to the word "amazing". She went from "girl next door" to national joke.

Gee Vera - this is old news. That basket was sent over a week or two ago.

Ten years does not a lifetime make. Granted, many Hollywood marriages are even shorter than 10 years, but saying Tom and Nicole spent a lifetime together is a joke.

A lifetime? They were together for 10 years. I thought life expectancy was longer than 10 years. Anywhoo, I wonder if Tom will let Connor and Bella see Sunday soon.

Vera, are you really calling Tom and Katie a healthy happy marriage? I know you go for friendly non-offensive posts, but that's stretching it a bit...

Well, they are parents together, I would expect that to be the LEAST he could and should do.

That's sad her kids SENT her something, Tom wouldn't even let them be there with their mum? Poor Nicky it seems like she never gets to spend anytime with her kids.

Am - That's what you get when you marry Tommy Girl. I know she had money before but maybe she was blinded by his millions and the fact that she had had a crush on him since she was a kid. I'm mean she wasn't a great actress before, just so-so, now with Cruise she has security. Plus Nicole's career didn't really take off until after Tom. I'm not sure exactly when Moulin Rouge was made, but I know it was towards the end/end.

Her kids call her Nicole not Mom because she was never nurturing to them. Even when they were married she never spent time with them. Tom was/is the better parent. Some day those kids are going to write a book and a true picture of Nicole will be told.

If Tom is the better parent, why do Isabella and Conor live with his sister? Nicole is kept at a distance because she dared to leave $cientology. And the kids? They're brainwashed.

Unbelievable judgement.... if anyone bothered to get to the source of what nicole said... she was interviewed in Britian.. and the interviewer asked her what do the kids say to mommy about that. ANd she replied. They don't call me mommy. They call me mom or sometimes Nicole which I hate. That was her actually quote .. that they don't call her mommy but rather mom. However the whole media took it and spun it to say they call her Nicole instead of giving the full context just to be salacious.. you are such a media baby. She is always spending time with the kids, just doesn't parade themout for photo ops or force them to be brainwashed

Am - Holmes looks scary skinny - have you seen Kidman? You have to be a mom in order to be called a mom. Kidman dropped the kids like a hot potato to find a man to marry and to keep making rotten movies!

I do not know Nicole but she seems like she is involvesd with herself a lot. I think she will not do anything for anyone unless she absolutely has to. Case with Urban-I think her clock was just ticking away. I would say Nicole is cold and not very interesting for children to be around.

"Hermes", "baby" and "necessities" in the same sentence - LOL! How about a teddy bear and a card saying you donated that other $1500 to the family of a baby who needs medical help? Wasteful parasites.

Have you people never heard of sarcasm? That's what "happy, healthy marriages" was meant to be. Duh.

When your kids sent you a basket to celebrate the birth of their brother or sister, something is wrong.

Tom and Nicole spent a lifetime together? I guess if you only live to be 10 years old, yeah okay. I've been married 18 years and I don't consider than anywhere near spending a lifetime together. Now a couple like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, they deserve such lofty designation. Tommy and Nic...well probably not.

They can't even see their own baby sister? How cruel. I guess Katie and Tom and afraid that Suri won't be the center of attention anymore. As a matter of fact, expect Katie to announce a second pregnancy soon just to take the spotlight off Nicole.

Guys, if you know anything about Scientology you'll know why those kids are so distant and why Nicole doesn't spend anytime with them. She spent time with them when they were younger, which is when your mom is the most important thing in your world, and when she was married to Tiny Tom Cruiser in his cult. But Scientologists are ordered to "disconnect" from anyone who does not belong to their cult or has left their cult, like Nicole had the guts to do. "Disconnect" basically means to utterly shun and refuse to ever speak to the person. They're now adolescents who are old enough to "disconnect" from Nicole, although Tiny Tom wouldn't have them do it completely or openly, because that would bring him garbage-truckloads of bad PR. So no, it is NOT healthy that they call Katie their "mom," because basically it means that the cult approves of her, and that it doesn't approve of their actual mother. I feel sorry for Nicole, because she is basically in a vise grip from Scienobotology. Let's face it, none of us know what she's actually thinking.
