Hayden Panettiere Out With New Cut

We've seen pictures of Hayden Panettiere's shorter hair before, but never this clear of a shot. I LOVE IT. I love it because I so desperately want to cut my hair off as well. I've said this when Gwyneth Paltrow cut her hair AND when Anne Hathaway did. So why aren't I doing it?? Gutless... simply gutless.
Hayden looks much older with this shorter do right? But it works. She looks great.

Everyone, from Posh to Jenny McCarthy to Hayden, looks 10 years older with that bob. It's a soccer mom haircut, and I AM a soccer mom...but would never cut off my hair in that style. It's instant news anchor helmet head. Maybe Hayden wants to look 10 years older because she's dating a 31-year-old guy.
I think Hayden looks cute! The hair cut looks good on her. And it would look good on you too Vera :) I had long hair for my entire life until I cut it all off two months ago, and I thought I would hate it, but I don't, I actually really love it and am thinking of always keeping it short now. Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff :)
how does she look aged in the dress OR the bob... you guys have a lot of time on your hands... she looks cute and summery.

I think it's a super cute (albeit popular) cut. Much better than the Nashville Barblie hair. I think this is so FAR from a soccer mom cut. It's edgy and cute. More sophisticated. And she looks cute in the dress too. She is SO stinkin' petite. Just look at how tiny her hands are!

Vera - I think you should go for it!! Although, I don't think the "posh" cut would be good... it's getting waaay old.

The linked cut would look great on you! If you are chicken, go to a wig shop first Vera, and try stuff on. I got a couple for the blonde urge. I tried going blonde once, and I couldn't leave the house til I got a fix it appointment. Cheaper to buy the wigs lol
I love her new hair. It makes her look less like a little girl. I've been watching her since she was on Guiding Light ages ago.
The hair cut suits her. I don't like the colour, though. It's too ashy and that is what is aging her here, IMO.
Why do you say the cut ages her? Are you (Vera) afraid that shorter hair will age you? As long as you don't get a helmet head hairstyle, short hair can be fun, sassy and youthful! I can't believe I said sassy.

Yeah I don't think the cut ages her she looks the same to me. She's always looked older it's just that now her hair is out of her face and you can see she has an older looking face.
I think you should do it Vera. I cut 14 inches off in Feb and love my shoulder length hair. I think the Anne/Gwyneth hair is less commital and a little longer and would be great for you. I have the same length with a little more layers to make my fine hair look like something.
I love that haircut! I've been noticing quite a few other girls get their hair cut recently too. I will admit I do too -- I was actually a bit hestitant after I noticed Gwyneth and Anne cut their hair because I didn't want to hop on the trend wagon. But I love my hair so much I don't really care. :D And besides - it's just hair! It'll grow back.
i had a chin-length v. beckham bob in january and my hair are already past shoulder-length by now. hair GROWS ;P it's THE time for a bob. get it now before every supermarket clerk get it. my bob made me look younger; i guess, it really depends. and i started to wear much more accessoiries like hairbands and clips and such which is a good thing. but for the start i would def. give the advice to take a longer version of a bob, so you can still pull it back if you want to or even cut it shorter afterwards.
I really like the haircut on her, I also think she looks a lot less boring with this cut compared to the long hair. edit: I've just seen other pics of her new hair do, and I think in this pic above it looks the best. I guess I'll have to see more pics to decide if I really like it that much :)

Eh, I liked it longer. Some people just don't look that cute with short hair and she is one of them. It adds more than 10 years in my opinion and looks like so many other girls in Hollywood. Going short is the new fad for them but she'll likely add extensions soon as many do.
She looks fine but less "Hollywood" pretty; I'm with Lauren D --she'll have extensions by September.
I think that cut is fun, flirty, and also sophisticated. She looks great with the cut and she is beautiful. My hair is cut similar and I love it, it makes me feel a little bit more sexy. It's also fun to play with when styling, try a pop-a-door with it cuz it's totally cute. I've seen lots of girls in my area and neighboring areas with the cut in many different variations. Vera you should go for it, you know it's always a boost to get a new do, especially a flirty and fun one. I wouldn't worry that it might be a little out, besides it seems we all still love it. Anyway, all that matters is if you like it, and it's just hair it will grow back quicker than you think. I promise you will love it and you will get tons of compliments.
