Rumor: Angelina Jolie Had Her Twin Girls In Nice, France
Is it true? In Touch Weekly is reporting that Angelina Jolie gave birth to her twins via cesarean in Nice, France at the La Fondation Lenval hospital.
Sources at the La Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France have revealed exclusively to In Touch that Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins. According to insiders, the 33-year-old had a cesarean today at 6pm French time and delivered two girls.
Brad Pitt was reportedly by her side. No word on whether the rest of the children were in the hospital.
No rep confirmation yet. Story developing...
Update: Faster than I can gain a pound by holding a piece of chocolate cake, the story has been debunked. Us Magazine has a source inside the hospital claiming the In Touch report is false.
"It's not true. The story is not true," the rep told Us.
InTouch posted an exclusive story reporting Jolie had a cesarean Saturday at 6 p.m. French time and delivered two girls, one at 6:45 p.m. and one at 7 p.m.

lol why is any celebrity news special then?.. Someone crashes their car, has drug issues, shops at this place, drinks that.. etc. Although, probably because they're a celebrity power couple who will fetch millions for their baby pictures and will give the money to charaty. That may be the slight difference.

If it's a boy and a girl it's another proof she used IN VITRO of course she will never admit it like her nose job.
Enough already! Give them some space, we know they are going to to sell the first pictures so let's be patient!
How is having a boy and a girl "proof of having in vitro?" Beats me!

I cannot read something like this and let it slide: boy/girl are NOT proof of IVF! In nature, boy/girl twins do occur as well, along with boy/boy and girl/girl fraternal twins. It may be rarer but it does happen, so fraternal twins per se really are no proof of anything. And, although even rarer, one egg transferred during IVF may divide and give rise to identical twins. I read the blog of a mum of 4, she had 3 transferred eggs - NOT implanted, that's up to the eggs and the uterus and the reason so many IVFs fail - one divided, now she has 4 babies so yes, under the sun it is all possible and we should be careful about what we say, people know too little of science already! It's none of our business anyway, I will never understand this obsession with celebrities' reproductive lives. I like babies and am happy others are giving birth but the nastiness and the fixation are beyond me.
It's scary how misinformed people are about conception. I guess that explains all the Jamie Lynns....

Angelina Jolie has given birth to A GIRL AND A BOY. The obstetrician who delivered the twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told The Associated Press that the actress, the babies and Jolie's partner, actor Brad Pitt, "are doing marvelously well." Sussmann said Jolie gave birth to a boy, KNOX LEON, and a girl, VIVIENNE MARCHELINE, by Cesarian section on Saturday night. He told the AP on Sunday morning that the boy weighed 5.03 pounds and the girl 5 pounds. Pitt was there during the operation, said the doctor, who delivered the twins at the seaside Lenval hospital in Nice in southern France.

it's in the newspapers in france, I live near Nice. They say names and weight and they are reliable papers. Confirmed!
I live in near Nice too and local papers state all details: from Nice Matin... Les bébés les plus célèbres du monde sont nés hier avant 20 heures à la clinique Santa-Maria de la fondation Lenval. According to CNN this has happened and her doctor made an official statement. Congrats to the big family!
Protesters yelling chants, calling for justice just outside of Angelina's super-protected private hospital window may have woken up Brad, the new mom and their babies this evening ... Residents in Nice protested this evening outside Lenval Hospital, speaking out against what they say is the mayor's undue attention to a celebrity birth over the murder of a local youth which, they say, received little attention from officials in the southern French city. The local family, originally from North Africa, told X17 video cameras they demand justice for their 22 year -old son who was stabbed. The crowd chanted "We want justice!" A protester added that city officials have not paid attention to the boy's murder and that they have not been allowed to return his body home. The man said Nice's mayor, Christian Estrosi, has been "celebrating the birth of the twins with Brad Pitt, meanwhile there has been no murder investigation and the killer [of the 22 year-old boy] is still running free in the city." Protesters became enraged and some even tried to enter the hospital. Anti-riot police were brought in and Brad and Angie hired three extra bodyguards to secure the hospital. Could this be a wake-up call for Brangelina? We respect the couple's charity work on philanthropy but is the spectacle of their children's birth and their $70 million-dollar French chateau overshadowing a country's own, more important news?
