Ethan Hawke and his new wife (former nanny) Ryan Shawhughes were photographed walking their dog this past weekend in NYC. Ethan is an interesting guy that's for sure. I remember when he came out in Gattaca how flipping handsome he was. Now he's looking a little more haggard and thin.

A few thoughts spring to mind.
First, Uma traded up. Way up.
Second, some of you sound like you have nannies and have a mortal fear of them stealing your hubby. Here is a flash from my sisters, who nannied, when the hubby comes onto the nanny, and they often do, the nanny leaves prematurely. So, if your nanny leaves, do some digging, or get a PI cuz he is dogging. If he does it in the house, he does it out of the house too.

I think he looks hot though - just thoroughly unhappy, as much as this may sound prejudice, I don't think anyone in Hollywood would like trading up a hotter, richer actress wife for a tattoo-ed former nanny.

Ethan and Uma were so miserable together. Back then she told the Oprah she had a rough period during the divorce period and that she blames herself for their break up, because if she had paid more attention to her husband than to her career, she would still be married now. I remember that she said “We were having a difficult time… Our marriage failed. I should take full responsibility for the failure of my own marriage.” So… I thought…Why everybody blame Ethan? He made a mistake, of course, but it isn’t easy to keep unhappy marriage for long time. Besides all of us know that Tarantino hang over Uma all the time. So… I think Ethan a moving father. He, Maya and Levon are always happy when they are together. And now he had Clementine and he got married… It’s life… I hope that he has forgotten Uma. Sometimes he looks happy anyway. And Clementine is so cute. I don’t like so much Ryan, but I’m glad to see Ethan happy again. Is he? We will never know… I hope that Clementine grows such intelligent and beautiful like him.
