Amy Winehouse’s Dad Thinks She Could Die “Slow And Painful Death”

How terribly sad to have to think of your daughter in terms of what kind of death you think she’s going to die. Amy Winehouse’s dad, who seems to have a very open relationship with the British media, has been quoted as saying he doesn’t think that Amy will die from an overdose. Instead he thinks she could die a "slow and painful death."

"She won’t die of a drug overdose, it won’t be that quick," he told Sky
News television Saturday, according to BBC News. "She would die,
unfortunately, of emphysema. That would be the most likely scenario if she didn’t check her behavior, which she is doing."

Her father also added that he’s nervous for when Blake Fielder-Civil gets out of jail.

"If he comes out and they go back to doing what they were doing before, she’s going to have a serious health problem," he said.

"He’s a fit young man, he could probably carry on like this for the
rest of his life. Amy can’t and he has to understand that," Mitch added.

Let’s just hope that when Blake gets out of jail Amy is more inspired than ever before to try and leave her life clean.

And meanwhile, Jay-Z gave a funny quote about Amy Winehouse recently. He said she’s like a Weeble!

"She’s like that toy from the Eighties, the Weeble."

"They
had an ad campaign that went, ‘Weebles wobble but they don’t fall
down.’ Well, that’s Amy," he told Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper.

"You always think she’s going to collapse but she always gets back up again."

Amy winehouse is an amazing singer. i am currently studying health & social care BTEC, our action plan is Amy Winehouse. It is a fantastic opportunity , not to nosey or intrude, but to get an insight into the minds of how many people in similar situations like Amy think. Researching Amy has been a great lot of fun, i am a fan but her personal life i tended not to listen to newspapers. Amy should be given her own show, e.g on ITV2.
Peter andre , kerry katona and katie price(ew) do. People need to see a real proper insight into Amy and get to know HER side of things and her admission to these ‘stories’ her ‘friends’ have been making money out of.

Keep going Amy, do whatever you can to get there
you have lots of support from your fans & Facebook also !!
keep going , after all two small steps forward is better than a hundred steps backwards.

  3. Its such a shame I really like her music hope she gets her life together

She’s a completely selfish person — young enough to change her health for the better — but apparently, she’s not taking her family’s feelings into consideration at all. This girl will be dead within the next few years, and her father will be the one still here, grieving. Smoking is perhaps the dumbest habit EVER. It’s DISGUSTING. I wish they’d raise the price of each pack to something like 30 bucks, because there’s NO EXCUSE for it anymore — we all know the repercussions of such a filthy habit, and personally, I’m sick to death of putting up with secondhand smoke in restaurants and other public places. Amy is the new Janis Joplin — a tremendously talented woman with a tragic restless streak and some REALLY unfortunate habits she refuses to break. But I don’t feel bad for her anymore. I feel bad for her father. He’s the one crying out for help.

  5. Ellie says:

She’s gotta quit all that crap and start thinking about herself. I want more good music, dammit!

  6. Passerby says:

    What a waste of talent.

  7. A Elite in Paris says:

… and her family is doing so much for her… but only her can help herself… and I appreciate Jay Z’s quote… he managed to talk about her without diminishing the performer… :)

  8. Mandilou says:

It never ceases to amaze me why people continue to care about an individual who has so little regard for themself.
Yeah, she’s probably going to kill herself with drugs or die from a habit related illness. So are a lot of people. If they aren’t affected by the constant sadness and worry they inflict on their fans and/or loved ones, then it’s just time to let go and realize the addiction has won and already taken that someone away from you.
Her dad is always making these statements like everyone is supposed to worry themselves to death over her too, then you see her destroying herself in pictures where she’s holding booze or has coke under her nostrils and you think: what’s the effing point?
Die already. Put everyone else out of your misery.
Yeah it may sound cold and heartless but I have a hard time caring about people who don’t care about themselves.

  9. Ernestine says:

I completely agree. I’ve lost too many people to preventable diseases like lung cancer, which is why it pisses me off that so many of my friends still smoke. There IS such a thing as accountability.

  10. Ten10 says:

I wish they would only photograph her in the nighttime.

  11. Moreaces says:

Jay Z’s comment is funny yet sad at the same time.

  12. Mr. Fuckrodd says:

Word! I mean REALLY…. What’s up with smoking cigarettes? Disgusting. I wish she’s hurry up and die. I’m sick of seeing pictures of the hideous creature.
