Jessica Simpson's new video for Come On Over has released. I have a feeling she is going to do really well in this new genre and I wish her the best. Jessica has said she finally feels like she is where she belongs. What do you think about her first video for country?

The video is not bad at all. In fact, I kind of liked it. I'm not really a Jessica fan, but I must admit her first country single is better than I thought it would be. I just hope she continues to keep her clothes on and doesn't do another bikini car washing thing. She has a pretty good voice and doesn't need to rely on her body to be popular. I think people would take her more seriously as an artist then.

I think this girl has taken a LOT of unfair flack from the media, and she generally seems like a nice enough person. I mean, I've never read an interview of hers in which she comes across as mean, arrogant or spiteful in the least. I've got no reason to hate her, so I basically wish her all possible success. Let me ALSO say that I'm NO fan of Top 40 Country as a genre, but she looks absolutely beautiful in this video, and I'll bet she does well with it.

I really like it! I've been a fan of Jessica's since The Newlyweds but haven't really gotten into her music that much. But I think I'm going to be listening to her a lot more now that she's gone country. I really hope she does well. I can't wait to get the whole album!

She's so insecure and needy, not to mention a poser. She claims she's a country girl but only because she has failed at everything else she has tried. She's all about money and ego and will do anything to try to make money--I bet she is basically down to no money at all at this point. The country world will take some momentary interest but eventually she will be exposed as the desperate fraud that she it. On a side note, she's fat and needs some of that silicone taken out!

I'm still trying to figure out why she is famous. No talent at all. I don't care what size she is or how insecure, she is a puppet.
Blah pop country, ok but not great. Everything is calculated with the Simpsons especially those so called charity trips to Mexico and Africa where Jessica makes a brief appearance for the camera and then disappears. The tv series showed a selfish brat and, hopefully, she has grown since then.
