Katie Holmes On The Set of Eli Stone

Katie Holmes was photographed walking around the set of, "Eli Stone" yesterday smiling and looking very happy. It was originally reported that Tom was making the cameo and not Katie. But that is incorrect.Â
I've loved the short hair on her for awhile, but I'm starting to miss Katie's long wavy hair from back in her "Dawson's Creek" days. What do you all think?

Again: WHY is this woman a fashion icon? WHY? You can afford to drop major loot at fancy-schmancy shops, but it doesn't mean you're going to be automatically sophisticated. Her hair is horrid. And so are those boat shoes.
Her hair is getting shorter and shorter. I think Tom wants her to look older and encourages her to keep it short. Geeze, I wish she wasn't under Tom's control.
I aggree...I think the haircut was a PR attempt to make her look older - she looks like she's in her 40's. It's horribile!!
Vera, I was about to say the same thing! I'm getting tired of her hair. She should do something different with it. I don't like mom hair. Ernestine - I totally agree with you!! I'm baffled that people consider her a fashion icon. She's not - first of all, like you said, just because she has the money to spend on clothes doesn't make her a fashion icon. Second of all, the outfits that she does choose are not age appropriate. She dresses like a 50 year old rather than a 20 something year old.

She can't even act, so why is she there? Did tc buy her this "part" too? She embarrasses herself.
She looks absolutely foolish! She had her own pretty successful career then she lets Gay Tommy swoop in and totally change her, I dont even recognize her anymore. She is so foolish to let a man come in and control her like this. She looks ugly now and looks and acts absolutely RIDICULOUS!

Her hair is HORRID. I saw more pics from yesterdays shoot, too, with the "wavy" 'do (that I originally thought might be cute) and that was actually HORRRRRIBLE also. She is a WRECK! Can't someone get through to her? And why is she dressed like an old homeless man? Wait, that insults old homeless men.

I don't mind her hair. I guess it's kind of mom-like, but I'd rather see this than the blah, bland long hair she had before. Too many woman grow their hair long and it just hangs there and looks boring, like they just have long hair because they think women are supposed to. I give anyone in Hollywood kudos for having the guts to cut their hair and show it off! (Although I agree that she's a puppet under Tom's control, and I'm annoyed that I'm going to have to watch her on Eli Stone - I love that show!)

I loved her original short haircut (the graduated bob with fringe/bangs) that I copied it! Her hair seems to have just gotten worse and worse though- shame.

Its so sad... I dont think she looks happy at all. What happened to the Katie Holmes with the HUGE wrinkly nose smile where you could see all of her teeth? That is her happy smile. These smiles looked forced. She looks so drained and detached lately.

why is she constantly covering her hands as of late? If you look at the earlier post of her wearing that disgusting outfit, she has her Grey sweater covering her hands! WTF is up with that??
I am getting tired of people saying that she used to look better "back in the Dawson's Creek days" Or "why can't she go back to that"...UM well its called growing up! If she had the long hair, we'd always see her as Joey Potter from the wrong side of the creek. (I looove Dawsons Creek, had to use the line she used...anyway). I understand that it'd be totally awesome to see her with long hair, but why bring up the Dawson Creek days? She was like what? early 20s... now she's almost 30... let her grow up! Sheesh. And if people are saying she looks old, people who generally have babies tend to age more rapidly due to the stress of becoming a mother, look at Angelina Jolie, only 32 or 33 and looks sorta older than that...
