NOOOOOOO! Please, say it isn’t it! Marc Cherry, creator of Desperate Housewives has said that he thinks the show will end after 7 seasons.
“I
made a decision after seven years, I will probably keel over in a hump
and die,” says Cherry. “I love my baby and I love working with these
gals and the idea of having someone take it from me — it’s my thing,
[I want to] take it through seven years and get out while people still
like us.”
But, there’s still hope for fans as he added,
“This could also be some clever ruse on my part to get incredibly large sums of money for Season 8,” Cherry says with a smile.
And here’s a little more on Eva Longoria’s new look for the part of Gabrielle:
Gabrielle (Eva Longoria) will remain frumpy for at least half the season,
which suits Longoria just fine. "I love it because I come into hair and
makeup and it’s 10 minutes instead of two hours," Longoria said. She’s
sporting a shorter hairstyle she got for the role.
Sure, if they shoot through Season 7 that still gives us a few more years, but I love that show! Who else would be really sad to see it end?

Season 1 was good. I watched Season 2 but it lost me. The storylines became increasingly unbelievable, and I couldn’t be bothered. So it will go for 7 seasons… What could possibly be left to write about?

The season finale was soooooooooooo good! I can’t wait to see what happens next season. Overall the show is stupid but so what? It’s pure entertainment and better than these dumb reality shows.

It can’t be the end of dh after season 7. I bought all the DVD’S and I watch them over and over again , I love that TV show and I hope they continue on for a long time. It’s the only TV show that I watched religiously.Pleeeeaaaseee continue on this show for all those people who love to watch it every week since the begining.

This show is absoultely amazing. It comes to a point when I am ready to stay at home Friday night just to watch another episode (sounds sad but hey). Please dont end it!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it so much!

Is the 2010 season over? It seems as though Extreme Makeover has preempted “Housewives” quite a lotthis year with two hour episodes.

People wh0o don’t like this show don’t bother commenting because if there is someone reading this u could be affecting whether the show continues then u’ll be punishing the real fans.. I have watched the lot of this, and it all makes sense you just have to watch it til the end of the season it all comes out… But then there is always a cliffhanger to keep you watching,, i think this is an awesome show and there is still so much you can do with it,, like bringing back adult Kayla and make her nice to begin with and act like she is sane and forgiving,, then turn her a little psycho every episode… i know everyone will see it coming but i think it’s what some fans want to see.. point is if you don’t like this show why are you spending time and effort to say that… just let it go, if u truly don’t watch the show it’s not going to affect you if it’s not on, but it will affect the cast and crew and fans,,

I didn’t like how last season ended and I’m really disappointed that that’s where they’ll be picking up the storyline. It better be $#@^ing fabulous or I’m finding something else to watch.

I like this show, but I don’t like the ending of the season 4… I want Susan and Mike together, I want the girls (Julie and Dylan and DANIELLEEEEE), I want the Scavo’s boys and Penny like they are now! And I don’t want Gaby fat and mommy!she’s the glamour one!

keep it going…….forever,it deserves to live as long as other shows like Coronation St for example here in the UK,which are NO where nearly as entertaining in the least,and dont reach anywhere near as huge a global audience….it should run indefinitely…..there’s always new things which can happen on a show like that its infinate!!!!!!!
I never like watching something more than once but I have watched all of the seasons three times now. I love this show and I think it could get away with doing atleast 20 seasons before people get tired of it. I hope it doesn’t end anytime soon.

season 6 was so strong.great story line and one liners.it is the best show on tv in the uk and i will be lost if it were to end-truly.there has to be a way of keeping it going.
