Maggie Gyllenhaal, her husband Peter Sarsgaard, and Aaron Eckhart were photographed leaving the Dorchester Hotel in London after having dinner together. So the news is out, "The Dark Knight" made a KILLING in theaters this weekend raking in a total of 155.3 million dollars surpassing Spider Man 3. Way to go TDK. I’m sure the movie will continue to break records…

According to ONTD, the movie has already broken 8 records:

  1. Miss_M says:

I haven’t seen the film yet but generally I think Maggie is one sexy woman and incredibly talented as an actress.

  2. Passerby says:

So for this film they think Heath should get an Oscar, i hope not.
are people seeing this because it has great reviews or seeing because they want to see Heath in a film for the last time.

  3. Kris says:

Katie Holmes must feel great about choosing Mad Money now! And are you kidding Above poster? Batman sells itself!!!, and Heaths performance was unbelievable!! He most def. deseves an oscar! What do teen girls know about comics anyway. You have to truly like Batman to love it. I personally liked it, althought the hubby is the true fan. And however it makes it’s $, Its #1 Of all time.

  4. Passerby says:

“According to ONTD, the movie has already broke 8 records”

Umm, doesn’t anyone edit this stuff??? “…has already broken…”

    Sheesh!

  5. Aphrodite says:

    Maggie is so cute.

  6. carson says:

i haven’t seen the movie yet but i love maggie. that said, i don’t know that i would cast her in a sexy role – she’s lots of things but traditionally sexy is not one of them.

  7. Druid says:

Breaking a lot of records and making a lot of money doesn’t make it a good movie. It is good for the people who are getting rich of the curiosity of Heath Ledger’s last movie. And now the star who allegedly assaults his family members

  8. Passerby says:

Peter and Maggie aren’t married. Do you EVER fact check?! Sigh….

  9. xmas caulfield says:

    non-verified passerby, please chill out.

  10. Passerby says:

Maggie G. is SO lucky that Katie-BOT stepped away from this role!!

  11. another Passerby says:

But he/she is right. The inaccuracy on this blog is lately taking upper hand.

  12. tennischick says:

i am SOOOOOO happy for Maggie. bec she is not a traditionally beautiful Hollywood star, people often miss how incredibly talented she is. thank goodness the producers/director of this movie was able to appreciate her talent — and non-traditional beauty and sex appeal.

  13. Passerby says:

all around ugly. The Batman forums and movie blogs are making fun of her and now loves Katie instead.

  14. Gisela says:

This movie made a killing because people are curious over Heath’s last performance. His death has made this movie a cult classic of sorts.

  15. Passerby says:

She is a miscast. When people are wondering why Bruce and Dent are fighting over her proves she’s a worthless distraction and recasts is truly the Darren effect.

  16. dog lover says:

I agree Gisela. Its like John Ritter spiked the ABC ratings of his show then it just faded. Its about nostalgia, saying gbye and curiosity.
The movie should have been The Joker Begins.

Maggie looks like the joker for the film and had no chemistry with the leads. I concur with the critics and fans that Katie had soul and sweetness while Maggie was too in your face feisty, she was too flirty and happy in the chaos Gotham and she walked so funny trying too hard to be sexy when she’s not.

  17. Passerby says:

watching TDK was powerful but sad. The Maggie scenes made me wonna puke and some made me snort.
