Christian Bale's Mom Insulted His Wife
The Daily Mail is reporting that all the drama started when Christian Bale's mom insulted his wife, Sibi. He supposedly "flew off the handle," after she said" some outrageous things."
"Christian was stressed, but he didn’t lay a finger on anyone. He just got very loud. Christian's attitude is that this was his mother's fault because she became very provocative in an argument they were having," the source added. "Things got out of control and he now says he wishes he just left the room.
Normally Christian would just call a friend and go out to a pub to cool off," the source said. "But he was literally trapped into this confrontation with his mother and sister because there was an army of fans and paparazzi outside."
How awful to have that kind of relationship with your mom and sister. :(
And strain in his marriage is putting stress on Christian as well.
"He has stresses in his marriage," a source told the Mail. "He can have a terrible temper. Instead of lashing out at his wife, he sometimes lashes out at people around him. His marriage is not perfect, but his relationship with his mother is in much more trouble," they added, saying that Bale is more upset about his mother's words than about having been arrested in connection with the argument.
They're also reporting that Christian is still deeply upset over Heath Ledger's death and trying to shake off the grief.

There are "reports" too that his mother and his sister are drug addicts! I side with Christian right now...He is under tremendous pressure right now and his friend is dead...Now he has drug-addicted relatives bugging him-_Who needs that!

If this is true, coupled with several reports of his Mothers behavior at the front desk (freaking out & making a scene screaming for him & to be allowed into his room) & her ALLEGED drug use ... my heart breaks for him. He doesn't need to be interviewed for possible criminal behavior, he needs a restraining order against his Mother ... & quite possibly the Sister too (based on the reports that she was the "frick" to the Mom's "frack" in this little episode).
And, in all seriousness, who hasn't had that one comment about a spouse/ child/ friend that sent them over the edge? If yelling at your Mom for making snide comments about your spouse was a crime in the US I'd sooooo be in jail.

He moved to the US with his father when he was 13 and hasn't really had a relationship with either mother or elder sister, so of course it's nice of the two of them to imply they have any kind of claim on his life. I'm pretty sure he must have been really threatening though, if mother and sister went home first, miles and miles away from London, and then waited a day to alert the police. *rolls eyes*

"He has stresses in his marriage" -- yeah, welcome to the club. It's called "everybody." Anybody who has any kind of relationship with anyone has relationship stress. They seem like a nice, normal couple. This bs should pass over in a few days.
I can relate; I have a nightmare alcoholic for a brother, this is EXACTLY the type of stunt he'd pull if I were famous.
Yes, I understand I have this sister who spends her time all day on this web site bashing me.
Poor guy... surrounded by women all the time. No wonder he snapped!

There are no reports that the mother is a drug-addict. There was a comment posted on JJ yesterday by someone who claims her father works at the hotel where this happene that is a complete rumor. All of these "reports" are rumors until something is confirmed by the actual parties involved or the police. That being said, it's pretty sad when you've lost so much of your privacy that you can't get into an argument with your family an not have it end up at a police station or in the news. Sorry, but I think being a celebrity would suck.
He was never arrested. He was brough in for questioning.. Man people just love sensationalizing stories... Leave the guy alone, this is the last thing he needs.. He is going through enough trying to promote this movie and grieve a friend. If he really did beat his mom and sis I think the police wpuild have arrested him, our society can't be that screwed up.
I"m sure he will come out on top! His mom sounds like a looney.

Bale is a looney. Shows he has no faith in his life. You can grieve but no excuses for abuses and tempers. Life is hard for all and it gets harder.
SAYONNARA BALE. I believe the stories because many fans from Batman on Film and Superhero Hype met him and he's a jerk. Just look at his face. He is so weird with his film roles always serious and intense and he's always grouchy.
I find him Christian Bale creepy. Some say he's alright if his wife stays with him. They are clueless that many verbally and physically abused women stay with their boyfriends and husbands. Only some get out of those situations if they love themselves and seek help.

Good God! Christian Bale is just a man doing a job. Sure, the job is high-profile. Sure, the attention goes with the territory. But isn't it just typical that the more successful a celebrity is at protecting his or her privacy, the more wild the rumours tend to be and any small incident becomes fodder for speculation. Whatever stresses he may or may not be experiencing could only be exacerbated by media speculation about the kind of person he is & where the blame lay for an incident that is his own business. Either watch his movies or don't. Either appreciate his skill or don't. Beyond that, it's HIS life and nobody's business but his own unless he issues an invitation. Here is a man who is, quite obviously, very private. Can any of you imagine the pain associated with the world speculating that you're an awful person who deserves all the crap that gets hurled your way? If he seems "grouchy", don't you think that, in itself, gives him good reason to be? I don't know whether or not he is a good person. Frankly, it doesn't affect me. The only thing I'm qualified to judge, as an audience member, is the job he does. From where I sit, he's doing a bloody good job. Thank you for the entertainment, Christian.
