Love It Or Hate It: Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson And Julianne Moore

Mariah Carey was on the set of, BET's "106 & Park" in NYC yesterday wearing a tight black dress, red undershirt, and black ankle boots. Why does she have to dominate my Love it or Hate it posts?
To be fair, I'm including a few other gals in this write up so we can all talk about someone OTHER than Mariah. Attached we also have Jennifer Hudson and Julianne Moore (who really deserves her own post). Click on the thumbnails below to see what I mean. Â

I really really like juliane moore. however, the shoes she is wearing in the above pic are simply horrid and the rest of the outfit is not much better. :( what's going on??
Mariah looks like a hooker. Seriously. STOP WITH THE SKIN TIGHT SPANDEX - this is NOT 1992!!! Jennifer Hudson looks cheap. Come on. There are more flattering ways to showcase your curves. Tight clothing is not it! Julianne Moore is disappointing. She's fabulous and usually so well dressed that this is like WTF??
I think Mariah is a gorgeous woman who dresses terribly! Mariah, there are much more gracious ways to show off how great you look than skin tight clothes that make you look trashy luv!
yikes Moore looks like a street beggar.. never noticed her calves she should have been an athlete.. it almost looks like she doesnt shave her legs but thats not it.. its most likely a hideous looking vein.. that makes me feel better...................

1) Mariah, this is actually one of here better outfits, but that's not saying much. 2) Jennifer Hudson looks good, she definitely embraces her curves 3) Julianne looks homeless, and the funny part is, the shoes probably cost more than I make in a month

Why does tight clothing automatically mean 'hooker'? Dont you people remember the En Vogue song...'I wear tight clothing, high heels shoes that really doesnt mean that I'm a prostitute.' So I am just assuming that those of you who throw 'hooker' around in reference to women who wear tight clothing are either fat or jealous or insecure. Prob all of the above. Get over it and stop referring to people as 'hookers' cuz they wear tight ****, life is not a movie 'hookers' dont even look like that in 'real life'. Get a grip.

Because hookers DO wear tight clothing. If I saw a guy walking down the street in chaps I would think hes gay ( unless I was at a rodeo ). If I saw a woman walking around in a long flowing dress done up to the neck with a lace collar I would think she was a Mormon or some other similar culture or a relative of Judge Judy. You are judged by what you wear. Thats life. If you don't want to be classified as a hooker then don't wear something from their closet. And no I am not fat, jealous or insecure. And I think MC has an awesome body ! I just wish she would wear more AGE appropriate clothing.
Actually, you'd be surprised by what hookers actually DO wear. I work late hours once in a while -- and, no, I'm not a hooker myself :-) -- and most, if not all the ones that I've seen (and once you see a woman hanging out on a streetcorner for hours, flagging down vehicles, with some sketchy looking dude lingering behind her -- trust me, you learn to discern who IS a prostitute and who isn't) dress like the kind of super-poor women you seen in places like Walmart at three in the morning. Baggy shorts, bigass t-shirts and flip-flops. My point: they don't dress like Mariah or Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. But, yeah, Mariah needs to cut the ****. We ALL know that.
mariah's boots kill it for me, but if you think about it, this is one of her more modest looks. what would you all be saying if she DIDNT put on the red shirt underneath? jennifer always looks adorable to me (minus that horrible metallic jacket that one time). julianne moore looks like an idiot, act your age, not your shoe-size.
Mariah looks....stout. Not an outfit I would have chose for her.

See Suffy_78's comment...she's right or he's right.....stylists aren't great, they're the opposite of art and originality. Do we REALLY WANT TO ALL LOOK THE SAME? I like someone who does his/her own thing style-wise.

I actually closed my eyes and shook my head after seeing Julianne. My god why would she even HAVE shoes such as those in her home? Thats tragic and a big DONT on the back page of Glamour
Mariah Carey looks (I can't believe I'm going to say this) beautiful . . . but she forgot her pants. Jennifer Hudson looks amazing with that short hair. And Julianne Moore is obviously having an off day. :)
I think some of ye will lynch me for this, but I like MARIAH'S look. I know she overdoes it with the tight dresses and the whole cheapish look. But u know what? She is a welcome change from all the others and she has her own look, trashy as it may seem. This actually is one of her better looks....
I agree with Suffy. Stylists are turning everyone into PodPeople...creepy!! AND very unoriginal...I may not like Mariah's style, but at least she does her own thing and THAT is rare and appreciated!!!

She can't pull off that black dress it makes her legs look chunky and short. As for the rest of this girl's wardrobe, her closet is the freakin size of time square and she can't find anything at all that is age appropriate? I am 21 and dress better than her. Someone needs to tell girl she ain't 22 anymore.
I was actually shocked that Mimi covered up so much... I think she'd look better with heels instead of the boots. I think Jennifer looks good... I like her second outfit better with the purple belt. Love the shirt and belt! I love Julianne Moore but she just looks awful here.
Mariah Carey is to be commended on covering up a bit more, but the outfit still has no class. The boots make her legs look short and chunky. Julianne Moore's dress is hideous enough, but I do not have a word to sufficiently describe the awfulness of those boots/sandals/shoes. What was she thinking? Jennifer Hudson gets my vote. Jeans paired with a colourful top and a great haircut.
