Matthew McConaughey Moving To Brazil

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have plans to move to Brazil in order to plant roots in the model's home country. I'm not sure how long Matty will be able to stay away from Hollywood. Wait - what am I saying? Warm sunny weather, sandy beaches, daily reasons to be shirtless and jogging. Uh oh!
"Camila’s from Brazil, but I’ve never been. We want to establish some sort of lifestyle there because we want Levi to absorb the culture where his mother came from. Culture is very important to both of us."

Yeah right. He'll drop her and Levi off there, visit every once and a while and be back in Hollywood boinking all sorts of other groupies.
That's a really bad picture of him. Is it just me or is it strange that he's been with this woman for over a year, has a child with her, but has never been to her home?
I think that's weird. I think he has met her parents though. I remember reading something about Matthew and Camilla throwing a party for them or something when they were living in the trailer.
Depends on what kind of background she comes from. I don't know much about her, except that she was/is a model. Are her people rich or poor? It might not be safe for them to visit her home if there isn't much security for them. I ave to give them points for looking to the future of their child and trying to give him a footing in both their cultures! They/he has also given his child a beautiful name with a spiritual background, if he is to be believed. I can't fault him for that either!! Too many celebs are going for the weird names to make their child stand out, he has given a name that any child can be proud od and not be the laughing stock of the playground and school for the rest of their lives!! Maybe there really is more to this man than the public sees with his bongo-playing and partying? Good luck to a beautiful "family"!

Good for them, that baby is adorable. Anyone who thinks it is good to raise children in the US is crazy. This is the worst place ever to raise a family, no culture, no morals, too crowed, too much pollution and too much focus on the bullshit. All this country cares about are stupid 'celebrities', reality t.v. and bad music, if I got preggers I would get the hell out of here.
I love Baby Levi's smile in this pic. What a cutie! I also love how darn TIRED Matt looks in this pic!!! I guess all those nights staying up late partying did not quite prepare him for the late nights of new fatherhood! And on another note, not having to do w/anything... oh my! what large hands you have!

Wow, I did not notice the hands at first, and now I ask myself,, how could you not have,,,good grief,,, at any rate, I think what the other poster said about setteling in Brazil,, I think they will have a home their,, but spend very little time there... I dont think Matt can stay away from hollywood, for very long,, and he just does not seem like the committed one... Best of luck anyway though.

Baby Levi is adorable. You know what they say about big hands.... Big gloves. Sorry. I had to.
He has money, so he will live quite well in Brazil. Otherwise it would be a really bad idea (but so is hollywood).

That picture is sooooooo adorable. Matt looks very tired as all new parents do. :) As far as them moving to Brazil, I don't think he'd give up the Hollywood lifestyle. They might vacation there though. I do hope they raise Levi to feel connected to both cultures -- American and Brazilian.
So nice to see his baby smile that way! Brazil, my 4th home, is a beautiful place to live if you can afford security (MM can, of course). So it can be a good idea, but maybe they will have to travel a lot from Br to the US in order for him to work, right? :) J.

Awwww....the baby looks as if he's laughing. So adorable, so loved. Wish Matthrew , his partner, and their baby son a long, and happy life.

No, newborn babies do not properly smile. Sometimes it may appear so just because of facial expression and movement. But this one is not only smiling but looking at the camera too! Totally photoshopped. The baby is cute regardless, but not so Mr McConaughey. He looks a mess.
The can trade houses with me anytime. I'm DYING to live Brazil as soon as I can. No one in their right minds would do that to a baby, seriously. But hey, marijuana here is cheap and good quality, maybe that's the reason.
