Angelina Jolie Told To Gain Weight For Upcoming Role

Angelina Jolie has reportedly been ordered to put on weight for a role in the forthcoming sequel to The Thomas Crown Affair. Producers have asked Angelina to start piling on the pounds in order to star alongside Pierce Brosnan. The fear is she will be as skinny as she was in Wanted.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror,
"Ideally they want Angelina to put on two stone (12.7 kilograms) for the role. It is going to be very physically demanding, which is why they want her to carry the extra weight. They don’t want a reprise of what happened with Wanted, where she was fainting and they had to take her costumes in."
Guess it goes both ways right? Some actresses are told to lose weight and others are told to gain. It does make sense why they would ask her to put on the pounds - for health reasons. If gaining will prevent fainting spells, then I think it's in everyone's best interest.

I'm glad they asked her to put on some weight. I know when the Wanted pics came out that is one thing everyone was talking about - how stick thin she looked. She has been at a healthier weight before and she looks better that way.

I actually like Angelina when she was in Tomb Raider. She was fit and looked like a woman. Now she looks like pop-eye's wife Olive. Shame

Look at it this way, no pressure to lose the baby weight. I think the producers have a good idea, with all the physical activity she will need to intake more calories than normal to stay in a healthy physical state and not become to exhausted.

I think this is a false story. When she did one of her magazine interviews Angelina said she had nothing lined up and wouldn't be working for awhile. I think Atlas Shrugged was the only project she wanted to do. I think 30lbs is obsessive. I don't think Angelina has ever weighed 130+. She definately looked thinner before her pregnancy but she was never big. Just look at her earlier films and photos.

They shouldn't remake this movie. Russo backed out, she's smart. I can't see Angie with Brosnan, sorry. And as for those who said she said she would take time off for the babes. She said the same thing after the adoption of Pax and was off working on Wanted in less than a week. This woman can't stand still. I just hope her family doesn't suffer. And I really hope those Ted C blinds that point at her aren't true.
Oh noooooooooooo. This one of my fav movies of all time. I want to BE Rene in that movie. She is so stylist and sexy and self assured and the clothing ! Being a redhead as well they would be perfect for me. boohooo sorry but I wouldnt go to see this with Angelina in the role. Honestly why do they keep getting her to take part? Its not like she draws people to the theatre is it? I wouldnt even seen Beouwolf ( ?sp ) because she was in it - how sad is that?
