Britney Spears Piece Of Me Oficial Video 2do Single!!!
Pop star Britney Spears is the first nominee announced for this year's 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, getting the nod for her hit single "Piece of Me." The video was chosen by MTV viewers who selected Spears, along with three other top female artists, to represent the Best Female Video category through an online vote at vma.mtv.com. Rumors continue to circulate about whether the paparazzi favorite will perform live at the awards show, but MTV has yet to confirm or deny. The remaining Best Female Video as well as Best Male Video nominees will be announced at 8pm ET/PT Friday, July 25 on FN'MTV Premieres, the network's new music video series hosted by Pete Wentz.
For the next 4-weeks, fans can cast their vote at vma.mtv.com for VMA categories including Best Hip Hop Video, Best Pop Video, Best Rock Video, Best New Artist, Video of the Year, and more.

i liked the video and i love britney spears although i think she coulda danced more...i remember her videos and she has amazing moves...she did dance in the end but i wish she woulda danced more...ULL B BAC ON TOP SOON BRITNEY!!!!
I think after last year (or was it the year before?) MTV would be hesitant to let her perform again. If they do have her perform I think they should monitor and approve the performance before it airs and not let her make a fool of herself again.

Aah, but she IS a fool, and nobody can MAKE someone take pride in themselves or their "work". Her carefully engineered image has all but vanished and she takes off her mask way too often for anyone to not know that she is trash. After that hot mess she stumbled out last year, if she were announced to perform on stage I think MTV would have record viewings. Everyone would want to see her and what she is willing to give of herself. Sloppy and careless or back on point?
VazquezGal: Are you kidding? MTV would LOVE for her to "perform" again no matter what. Ratings my dear, ratings. MTV doesn't care if she makes an ass of herself, its dollars for them. And, they DID see/approve her performance before-hand last year, the video of that was all over the internet too. You don't really think MTV cares if she makes a fool of herself, do you? MTV is a machine and a corporation, all they see is dollar signs. It sucks and it's sad, but that's the real world (no pun intended).

Wow, the bathroom scene near the end is too much! Her weight seemed to go up and down by about 25 pounds with every spin. She needs to get a better video photoshop editor!!

Way to go Britney!! I can't wait till she gets back on the right track again & she seems to be headed that way!! :D Everyone can come on here & talk trash but until you've walked a mile in her shoes you don't know what your talking about & this song is dedicated to you!! Go Britney!!
The song makes its point with the lyrics but it's pretty weak otherwise. Ms Spears is yet another victim of the cult of celebrity, but she contributed to it herself. "Celebs" and the media feed off eachother. The problem is that the media cannot be controlled to print only the positive. While she was everybody's darling, they printed stories to support her image and rise to fame. However, when things started falling apart in her personal life, she actually became of more value to the media. Printing the resultant negative stories and the obscene frenzy every time she shows her face in public is an indication that there is a market out there for publicizing a person's perceived downfall. Even her sister's teenage pregnancy was seen as newsworthy. One can only wonder whether getting back on the same treadmill is really the way to go for her to get over her issues, but it seems to be the route she's chosen. I guess she's never really known anything else... But regardless of how much money and fame she has, and the lifestyle it can buy, she has lost the two most important things in her life, being her two sons. Sad...
