Brooke Hogan Wasn't Telling The Truth
UGH. And we thought the Charlie Sheen/Denise Richards divorce was ugly. Brooke Hogan has come out to publicly say that she lied about allegations that her Hulk Hogan used to hit Linda Hogan. She had signed a legal affadavit saying that her dad abused her mom while they were married.
"I did it under significant pressure from my mother," Hogan, 20, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "It was only after I learned all the facts that I realized I made a big mistake in signing it."
Brooke's rep added,
"Brooke Bollea is distressed at the latest efforts by mother Linda to fracture the family. This time they let leak out an old document that Brooke signed filled with exaggerations and fabrications about father Terry's behavior during the marriage. The months-old document was signed by Brooke at a time when she was upset with her father."
And Brooke herself is obviously distressed by everything that's going on.
"I love my mother, and hope to one day reconcile with her," Brooke says. "But using kids as pawns in a divorce is awful. Every day my mother resorts to this kind of behavior makes it that much harder for us to ever have a relationship again."
That is some really sad stuff. This family is being absolutely torn apart. I
s it just me or did they have everyone else out there fooled too? After watching their reality show a few times, I used to think they were on of the most normal famous families out there.

Yes Vera, they had me fooled. I used to enjoy watching Hogan Knows Best and thought this family was fairly normal. I feel duped now. My view on them has totally changed. And now Brooke had to go and make that stupid comment about how a woman should not be president.

I thought they were normal, very normal actually. HOWEVER, once the mom and dad started started dating carbon-copies of Nick and Brook I lost all respect. so gross. And i thought Papa Joe was weird!
Well, Brooke certainly wasn't telling herself the truth when she looked in the mirror in this outfit and said "I look GOOD."
That being said, are so out of touch with reality that we now look at a family like the Hogans (pre OR post split) on television and think they're "normal"? Heaven help us.

The article does say that now she is living with her dad, how do we know that he isn't pressuring her into recanting. I'm a child of divorce and it sucks. To this day (25 years later) my parents can hardly stand to be in the same room. Some times I feel for her and some times I don't. By having her TV reality show I think she opens herself up to criticism. Maybe the whole family should just disappear for a little while.
She has zero credibility just like the rest of the Hogan family.
Why is she living with her Dad? On her reality show she just rented her first condo.

Brooke, I have followed your father's wrestling career since day one . I remember the movies "No Holds Bar " and "The Nanny". I also wish that everything goes well for The Hogan Family in which everyone has the best that life can give you . Always love your Father because he needs Nick and your love very much now that he is going through his trials and tribulations. Take care of yourself and keep up the good with your career .
