ONE DAY CONTEST

Last night I attended a cooking demonstration with Katie Lee Joel at the Viking School in town. She was as sweet as can be and really inspired me to start cooking again. You know how it is - you work, have children and have to deal with day to day errands. The meaning of cooking suddenly becomes pasta and jar sauce without even thinking about it! Katie had SUCH a love for food that it made me want to run home and make her peach cobbler.

And don't get me started on her fried green tomatoes! 

I purchased two copies of her cookbook, The Comfort Table - one for me and one for an INO reader. It is autographed by Katie and she even wrote I'm Not Obsessed! which I thought was cute. :) 

I have a ton of quotes from her about Billy Joel which I will get together tomorrow morning to post. But for now, let's just do the giveaway.

Ohh I love Billy Joel. Saw him at Shea last Wed night and he was fantastic... Don't know much about Katie really. I did she her on some tv show and seemed really sweet. I wouldn't mind taking that cookbook off your hands. I just moved in with my bf a few months ago and cook almost every night. The only problem is I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO COOK. haha I'm learning, I'm learning...
