Generally the outfits celebrities wear -- & I covet -- cost more than my monthly cable, cell phone, electric & gas bills combined, which leaves me with an interesting choice -- luckily, I have a credit-limit on my Visa that stops me when I make the wrong one. Which is why Eva Longoria's denim sundress with a handcrafted elephant buckle by Voom by Joy Han for $158 is a rare find ... it's an affordable splurge!

As for the bag ... lets just say 'not so affordable'. But you can get this similar Tote in Faux-Croco with Metallic Finish from Newport-News for only $25!

And, if you want a slight twist to the bag, try Lulu's Multi-Colored Faux-Snakeprint for $48

The bag is PVC, but doesn't look cheap. The stitching is clean, the color is really nice, & it's roomy enough to be a good carry-all ... especially if you need a bag to double as a mini-book-bag/ gym stuff-holder. It's also a good handbag for flying because you're allowed 1 handbag & 1 carry on -- & the bigger the handbag, the more you can bring with you.

The only 2 drawbacks I can think of is that (1) there's no shoulder strap, so you can't wear it over your shoulder if you have a bulky coat on & (2) there are rhinestones on the buckle overlay, so if you don't like it, you might want to cut it off (easily done at the fob).

Other than that, Newport News generally makes a solid bag that will last & keep it's shape (they're the little sister company of Spiegel & have a lot of the same manufacturers & quality control).
