Rebecca Romijn Expecting Twins!

Man, there really must be something in the Hollywood water…

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell are expecting twins! And yes, this news has already been confirmed by their rep. The two have been open about the fact that they were trying and hoping to have children sometime soon, so it looks like they got their wish. A source said,

"Jerry couldn’t be happier about becoming a dad.”

Congrats to the happy couple! Here’s to wishing Rebecca a complication-free pregnancy.

  1. Passerby says:

Their twins will be fraternal because they obviously used in vitro or fertility drugs. Same with Julia Roberts, J-lo, Angelina Jolie, Nancy Grace, Marcia Cross, Geena Davis, Marcia Gay Harden, Diane Farr, Diana Krall, etc.

  2. zaoli says:

Nothing’s in the water, it’s all in the turkey baster.

  3. Amy says:

Maybe they just want more than one kid but to only be pregnant once and get it over with.

  4. Passerby says:

I am sick of people having twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Passerby says:

    Holy Invitro Batman!

  6. Passerby says:

I’m happy for this couple. Who cares if it was invitro or fertility drugs? It’s nobody’s business how she conceived. Congratulations to Rebecca and Jerry!

  7. Passerby says:

i dobnt consider her a celeb! the only reason she is known bc she was once married to john stamos

  8. Passerby says:

It is not something in the water, it is called In Vitro Fertilization, all the celebs are doing it…you can pretty much bet if twins are born and not indentical in this day and age, they did In Vitro.

  9. Passerby says:

As everyone is saying, what’s in teh water is IVF. US had a whole gallery of celebs with twins and every single mother except for Kim Porter, was over 35.

  10. greeeneyedwhwoman says:

I’m so happy for them! Here’s hoping everything goes well for them!

  11. Feebee says:

I agree that it’s probably IVF that’s in the water but I don’t agree it’s because “Hollywood” people want their babies instantly. Nobody knows Rebecca’s ovarian situation.

  12. Passerby says:

Here’s a direct quote from thier rep:

“The twins were conceived without the help of in vitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid”.

I guess they’re “nipping this one in the butt” early.

  13. Passerby says:

Maybe they used ANOTHER fertility drug. Their statement is weird. Why would they list that one, specifically?

  14. Sporky says:

I have read they have been trying for a while to get pregnant so maybe there was some difficulty conceiving and that’s why they did in-vitro.

  15. Jan says:

Yeah I agree. Why would you think this is so strange when everyone today seems to be using IVF ? I was reading an article one day that said a side effect of all these drug babies could be infertility. Wouldnt that be ironic?

  16. Passerby says:

That IS weird that they specifically named Clomid. I didn’t think of it that way. LOL!

  17. Passerby says:

so sick of celebrities’ new baby fad, and their twin explosion. These people are so emotionally undeveloped and yet their are having children to please their narcissistic selves.

  18. Passerby says:

Is everyone having invitro now? wow, how many celebrity brats does hollywood need?

  19. horseyjunior says:

Whatever happened to letting Mother Nature take it’s course! However, I suffered two miscarriages and was put on a mild fertility drug in order to conceive again. Thank goodness – no twins!! One healthy boy who is now a young man! So, there are a ton of fertility problems out there that require “help”. Good luck to them!

  20. Passerby says:

she would be nothing without stamos

  21. exposition says:

    Aww, good for them. :)

  22. Passerby says:

so i wonder if shell stop smoking the herb?

  23. vozbelle says:

So happy for them. They seem like such a laid back, happy couple.

  24. Passerby says:

Congrats! Even though at this very moment you know John Stamos is crying his eyes out.

  25. Passerby says:

oh please! he could care less about that skank

  26. Allie615 says:

I wonder how they’ll work that into Ugly Betty……

  27. Amy says:

Is she even still on Ugly Betty. I always thought she was the BI about an actress with a diva attitude on the set of her tv show that wasn’t coming back this year because the producers weren’t going to put up with it.

  28. Swiss Miss says:

Something in the Hollywood water? Yeah… fertility drugs! How else would these 40 year women all be getting pregnant with twins. That being said, I like Rebecca Romjin and Jerry O’Connell. They seem down to earth and laid back.

  29. Polly says:

Thank-you! I thought this was pretty obvious.

  30. kiki says:

first the thing in holloywood was to get pregnant. now, it’s to have twins. these holloywood ppl take everything to the extreme. no way in hell all these twins are being conceived naturally. it’s a shame. fertility treatments are for ppl who are having difficulty conceiving naturally not for ppl who just want to bring a bigger attraction to their family.

  31. Passerby says:

Love them as a couple! Still can’t get over the fact that he was Vern in Stand By Me!

  32. Passerby says:

Guess everyone in Hollywood wants INSTANT families–Twins–IVF for SURE!

  33. I BELIEVE THAT... says:

This is no SURPRISE!! All these celebs can’t tell me they aren’t using –
IN-VITRO FERTILIZATION or FERTILITY DRUGS. All these sets of twins are no accident!!!! Money can BUY TWINS these days!!!!!!

  34. Anonymous says:

why do these hollywood “stars” insist on lying about their plastic surgery and fertility drugs. it’s ridiculous.

    it’s so obvious!
