Witness Told Shia LaBeouf To Flee Crime Scene

Good thing Shia LaBeouf didn't listen because that would have only made things worse. A witness who stopped at the accident scene overheard one of the men from the car Shia hit, telling him to just leave.

Shia was tending to the other
people
in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff
and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out
of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My
license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’”

The man in the other car said he would cover.

“The guy Shia hit told him, ‘You
should get outta here,’ and ‘I never saw you.’ He said, ‘I never saw
you,’ and Shia said, ‘No, man, I gotta stay here and deal with this.
It’s my problem.”

The witness also added that Shia didn't seem intoxicated.

“He looked more disoriented and shocked more than drunk. I wouldn’t have thought he was drunk.”

UGH. The whole thing still makes me sick to my stomach. Don't drink and drive!!!!!!!!!!! What an easy concept.

Apparently Shia was not to blame. It's been reported that the car that hit Shia's truck actually ran a red and hit him, causing his truck to flip and roll like it did.
Makes alot of sense, why else would the guy in the other car be telling him to go? Because he hit Shia. If Shia was the one to actually hit the guy, you bet your ass the guy wouldn't be telling him to leave.
Gotta hear out both sides before everyone starts jumping the Shia-Ship. Wasn't his fault, folks. Hopefully his hand is okay!

That's what I mean Shantelle. I keep hearin DUI but I don't recall seeing reports of his alcohol level which the media usually seems to want to jump all over. I want to know if it has been reported. Police officers could say they looked drunk. But what if it was something else, like being tired, after all it happened around 3am. I don't know. I just feel there needs to be more info on that before everyone starts pounding him in the ground with the whole "what an idiot he is" thing.

Ok, I tried to clarify this in the other post. There was NO breathlizer done, no sobriety test done at all. They arrested him because they *suspected* he was drunk. He may very well have been suffering from the stunning effects of a HEAD INJURY which the hospital CONFIRMED he was treated for. Again, there is NO SCIENTIFIC proof that he was drunk at all. Vera, you need to stop posting till you get over your insomnia issue. Lately your posts are mean spirited and unwarranted. It makes me not want to come back to your site.

Thanks for the clarification. I just saw on TMZ that the cops are saying he's not at fault.

see this is EXACTLY why people should not be so quick to judge and condemn. i'm sure that the majority of people who have had a drink have gotten behind the wheel of a car at SOME POINT. i'm not condoning his behavior by any means, you should absolutely not drink and drive but i'm no hyprocrite either.

i'm also not the least bit shocked that shia stayed and did the right thing and not run. despite his brushes with the law, in every article i've read about he seems very self-aware of his potential problems. i learned my lesson (the hard way) and i think this time it will sink in for shia too. even if he was not legally drunk, just one drink is all it takes for your reflexes to be impaired. maybe he could have avoided the accident entirely.

I haven't actually heard a confirmation that he was in fact drunk. Now that we know that the accident was not caused by his driving , I would like to hear the story behind the drunk driving accusation.
ALSO - Just cause he's not at fault does not make driving under the influence right. I hope that the intoxication report is wrong.

YOu know what's odd about the whole charge of DUI?? There were no breathalyzers or tests done at the scene. So they arrested him only because he looked drunk.

Why not wait until all the facts are in before jumping to conclusions.. Where
is Shia's publicist? And where is the other car.. It usually has to be there
when there is an accident... Does this mean that Shia is going to sue the
other driver...

First of all, the witnesses said that they didn't think he was drunk and the police did not charge him for DUI and the fact they determined that he was not at fault, why would you write: UGH. The whole thing still makes me sick to my stomach. Don't drink and drive!!!!!!!!!!! What an easy concept. ???? You are not making any sense.

never mind I just found out that he was cited with a misdemeanor DUI. Ignore my last comment above.

Well I'm glad he at least realizes he shouldn't run from the crime scene. He simply got too much fame too fast and doesn't know how to deal with all his power and money... I hope he doesn't turn out like so many other actors...
