Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick decided to get a sitter for James and enjoyed a night out alone at a Midtown Manhattan restaurant in NYC.Â
After 11 years of marriage, this "cheating allegation" really has to sting. Thank goodness James is young enough to not understand what Star Magazine has said.Â
Do you think the pair accidentally got photographed? Or was this a planned outing to prove that the cheating rumors aren't true? Personally, I think the whole thing is absurd. But playing this game is part of being a celeb.

I don't believe the story. It was written by Star Magazine after all!

Yes, I agree--It is damage control. Looks like she just made a quick shopping spree over to the GAP--perhaps to buy the yellow sweater?!
and yet not a single picture of Matthew and this mystery girl together in this so call restaurant (a public place) anywhere. No evidence to back up their story. I guess Star is running out of story ideas, so they just had to pick on someone to shock the world in order to sell their magazine. It didn't work. If they're going to make up a story - try make it more believable next time.
I am sure the story is bullshit and why does it mean that they are putting on a front just cuz they went out to dinner together? They were not at the Betrice Inn or The Plaza or Parker Meridian I mean they went to some restaurant in MIDTOWN the tourist capital of the world. I HIGHLY doubt they were looking to get snapped by the paps.
This photo was planned. I think everything in that world is planned planned and planned. But I still find it hard to believe he cheated. Maybe SJP ego is just getting too big and he felt insecure. Ferris Bueller just dosn't seem the cheating type....although I never thought Ryan Phillipe would do that either.

What's with the white strings on each of their wrists?
I noticed they, along with their son, are all wearing these white strings. Matthew and son have that same necklace that he's wearing in these pics and I've seen Sarah with that necklace wrapped around her wrist. My guess is that it's a unity thing between themselves and I think its great. The press and public are way too intrusive. They are actors and their private lives should be off limits. I wouldn't want someone following me around. Also, The Star sucks. They make up stories to sell mags. period....If this story were true, we would have this person's name, pic and probably some lawsuit as well.

I call bullsh*t on the story to begin with. SJP and MB have never been ones to play their relationship out for the cameras and it would be extremely out of character and disappointing if they all of a sudden decided they needed to be photographed to dispel rumors. If that is the case, then their relationship probably IS in trouble. They never seemed to care what the public thought in the past and I always liked how they tricked the media and had a surprise wedding. Sometimes pictures of people going to the movies or to the grocery store or getting gas are just pictures of people going to the movies or to the grocery store or getting gas. No motive behind it beyond just living their lives.
I think Matthew B looks better in these pics than he has for a while. I know they have been in the Hamptons and they are tan to show for it. He has a youngish look to him here. I've said before that anything is possible, maybe he did cheat, maybe she forgave him, whatever. We will never know and that is how it should be. SJP quite possibly looks sad because she gets asked 84,000 times a day how she is doing now that hubby is cheating.
I really hope it's not true. I have always been a big fan of Matthew Broderick and I love Sarah. It would be tragic to see another celebrity marriage go up in flames. I really hope they make it.
I don't think she looks sad at all. She actually has a smile in a couple of them. She and Matthew have had to deal with alot in their relationship, this is just another rumor they will shrug off. The two of them going to dinner in NYC is a very common occurance and they probably knew there would be some pap following them. But in true fashion, they did not let that deter them. They have outfoxed the press at each important point in their lives and that's one of the reasons the press goes out of their to stir up rumors about them.
do you think she actually eats anything at dinner? the older she gets, the skinner she becomes, and that is not a compliment.
Why is it everytime a couple goes out after breakup rumors people have to say it's only for damage control? These couples go out together all of the time. A rumor isn't going to change that. Also that story came out a week ago. If it was damage control wouldn't they do it a lot sooner?
SJP is smart. The first story was leaked to refute her hubby's homosexual rumours and this was also planned. I don't think their marriage was even on the rocks.....it's all planned very well.
Cute couple. Do they often stay on celebrity dating site ~~~~Tallmeet ~~~~ com ? Hard to believe,i heard this news many times from many friends AND i think that they are know nothing but dating and love.
Media hype comes with the territory for "celebs", and with the publicity SJP has received in recent times because of the SATC movie, she is going to be an obvious target for a while. However, she is experienced enough to ride it through until the rag mags move on to their next "victim". The fact that the story appeared in only one magazine, and that being one of very little repute, with no substantiating evidence whatsoever makes the whole rumour laughable. What isn't laughable, however, is that certain sections of the media are able to publish completely fabricated stories about people, which have the potential to be hurtful and damaging, yet get away with it. Presently their son is too young to understand or read about rumours that his daddy is gay, or that his daddy is cheating on mummy (with a woman), or that his mummy was voted as one of the world's unsexiest women by a cr*ppy lad mag. (It's strange that Matthew Broderick is supposedly gay yet cheats on his wife with a woman!) In the above photos they just look like a normal couple going out for a meal. They are both dressed down, and looking very understated. Good luck to her. She's always handled herself with class, and is sure to continue to do so.
