Reese Witherspoon And Jake Gyllenhaal To Marry
A winter wedding? How magical! Rumor has it that after Jake Gyllenhaal wraps up his current movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, he will marry Reese Witherspoon on Christmas.
A source on the movie’s Morocco set tells British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, "Jake is telling everyone they are getting married at Christmas.
"He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time.
"When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes."
While I can't see Jake blurting out this news to the craft service table, I do think they are on the path to marital bliss. Whether or not it will happen this year is another story. Only time (or a rep denial) will tell.
The couple met in 2006 on the set of their thriller Rendition.

I can't either. But recently Ted Clueless has been getting nasty, so I kind of wish JG=TT is not true. I met JG in a work-related situation at the Venice Film Festival in 2005 shortly after the first round of TTs and somehow Jakey akways struck me more asexual than gay. Ted C has been off before, and when male actors ignored him, he's gone on a nicely-worded rampage before. What I don't believe is that either Jake or Renee would go public with anything like that, neither their publicists, and production on PoP has been delayed or even halted, so there!

I seriously cannot stand this couple! Reese Witherspoon is an uptight and mean person. Jake is a douche for trying to grab on to a "ready-made family" situation. And I hate how Ryan Phillipe has been demonized because of his divorce from Reese. He was upfront about their problems and how they went to therapy. However, in the end all people care about is image. Reese and Jake "look" like the perfect couple so they must me. Whatever....
Why the headline if you also don't believe the silliness? A "FRIEND" would not be giving out this information and it is not likely strangers would know, so ... are we just having a slow news day?
are you ppl serious? y'all have absolutely no reason to hate on them. and, i hate to use the word hater because it's not like ppl are jealous of every single person they talk bad about. but, at this moment it seems appropiate. no one on here even know this woman to know whether or not she's a bitch, or a pompous bitch at that. she has done nothing to deserve being called names like that. it is hard enough for a woman to even find a decent man and even harder when she has kids. there is absolutely nothing wrong with falling in love with someone who has kids. that just says a lot about their character. they are willing to take the person anyway they can get them. ryan has done nothing to deserve all the attention he gets except marry an A-list actress. that's it. jake's claim to fame was off his talent and nothing else. through out their entire marriage it was always reported (not saying it's true) about what a serial cheater he was. but, if it is true i would assume that's mainly where their PROBLEMS came from. even reece said they were in therapy. it's not like it was a big secret everyone was trying to hide. they are not attention whores like most couples these days. that's why it is so easy for me to stomach them.

I love Reese. She's my favorite actress and I'm so happy that she found someone again. She's such a great mother and I think Jake will be a great husband and father too. Best wishes of happiness for them both!

I can see how some man who is gay might (sadly) feel the need contrive a relationship with a woman who is willing to "front" for him. Maybe even to the point of marriage (crazy as that would be).
But why on earth would Reece Witherspoon agree to have a 'pretend' relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal? She is beautiful, rich and sought-after. She could have a LOT of fantastic guys. She also seems like a good mother who loves her kids, and as a good mother myself, I can tell you I wouldn't dream of carrying on a fake relationship in front of my children. I doubt Ms. Witherspoon would do so.
So all this nonesense about Jake being gay and hiding it strikes me as sheer 'Brokeback Mountain'-fantasy.
xmas, Toothy Tile is the alias given to someone that was in a blind item of Ted Casablanca's. It is several years old if I'm not mistaken. Toothy is gay and has supposedly been spotted in compromising positions with other young men in Hollywood. Ted won't name names for legal reasons but popular opinion is that it is Jake G.
I think Jake is gay and thought so before Brokeback. I just wonder if Reese knows. I could not care less if he is-it's a shame that he can't come out and be himself.
