Mary Kate Olsen Speaks About Heath Ledger's Death
Mary Kate Olsen has issued a statement through her lawyer, speaking out against reports that she was somehow involved in Heath Ledger's death. Her lawyer Michael C. Miller says,
“Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger’s home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them. Regarding the Government’s investigation, at Ms. Olsen’s request, we have provided the Government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger’s death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger
consumed. We don’t know the source of the information being quoted in
the media regarding the Government’s inquiry, but these descriptions
are incomplete and inaccurate.”

i'm embarrassed for ledger's memory that mary kate olsen has been associated with him post mortem. i never read a single item linking the two prior to his death. his death was a tragic accident of taking too many prescription pills at once... with seemingly no intention of it resulting in ending his life. if he had street drugs in his system then i'd believe she was withholding information on dealers. homie is just guilty of letting herself go.
Why not just answer the questions and be done with it instead of asking for immunity? If nothing else, it can provide his family and friends some much needed closure. It all seems very suspicious that she's holding back ...

i'm pretty sure the crux of her statement is that she ISN'T asking for immunity and that she has fully cooperated with the investigation.

She's lying. Why ask for immunity if you've got nothing to hide? Nothing makes you look guilty then threatening to not cooperate for NO REASON.
If she -does- know something, then she's being selfish to Heath's memory and his family for not divulging potentional important information.

its all a bit shady i reckon, sorta like she gave him stuff she usually mixes for a good high but wasnt aware he was on other shit too or something, why on earth would the masseur call her first? and why did she take it on board to call private sercurity ambulence people? it jsut doesnt add up, and its ridiculous to have a dead body of a brilliant actor father and human and the answers adn facts not add up, how can that be justice?

Your paragraph started off as very interesting and concise, reading-wise. But, as I read further in it, the spelling went down hill and so it was sort of hard to follow. And, to think, I was so into it - it just had to be cut too short. Nah, but seriously, I like your reasoning, makes ya think about MK and her involvement. You should be a detective. :)

MK knows something. Why else hide behind the immunity! Whether they were together romantically or not, she knows something and she needs to tell the feds what she knows. Stop being a selfish MK and let his family have some closure on his death!

as far as they were both rich & junkies, obviously she knows something. but they should just let it go and stop messing with his death.
im assuming she has something to do with heath's illegal posession of oxycontin. hey.. if she is involved... props to her for looking out for herself... i'd do the same thing. she probably wants to help but doesn't want to throw herslef under the bus. shes just a kid really...
Yeah, and besides, he's was a grown man. If she supplied the illegal drugs he knew what he was mixing it with. Now, i'm no einstein, but I'd know never to mix pills or drugs together. Unless your a chemist, then sure, go on. But, c'mon, he OD'ed - on his own accord - unless she had him chained and forced fed those pills -OR- went into his room and switched his pills for other pills, then I say she should step to the plate and 'fess up already.

Miss_M, Perhaps his family cares! They want some closure and they deserve it. I'm sure if this happen to your family, you would want the truth?? If she is somehow involved, then she need to step up the plate and take responsibility. If she supply illegal drugs for him then she needs to be charged with drug trafficking. DUMMY!!!

Something is fishy with this...guaranteed. She has to be connected to his death in a way that she needs protecting. I hope they do not give her an immunity deal and instead soppena her ass and put her under oath.
Here's a thought, maybe she should have called her new coffee table book "Under the Influence" ???
